J B.WA, WA0115Mar 25, 2023I used Kitsap Roof Pros to put vents in my roof. They put their ladder in my gutter and ruined it, even nailed it halfway back to my house with roofing nails. They set off all my fire alarms and instead of calling me, broke into my house and slammed all of my fire alarms on the floor with the batteries all over the place. The gutters were full of roofing nails and camel crush cigarette butts. They denied everything, deleted my review on Google. Incredibly unprofessional. I cancelled my roofing job with them on my other property.

We have been in business since 2016 and this is the only negative review we have anywhere online. Many of these claims are not factual. The homeowner used foul language with our staff, hung up on us, and ignored all efforts to reconnect and come to an agreeable resolution. We are not perfect and have a reputation for taking full responsibility for mistakes when they arise. Our goal is to have 110% customer satisfaction on all projects, even if that means forgoing profit. We did not damage these gutters; they were damaged upon our arrival. We did not enter the home and under no circumstances would ever do such a thing. We were aware of the location of the drain field and made sure to always keep our vehicles on the driveway. The neighbors informed us this home has a history of squatters and was unoccupied for a long period of time. While we feel sympathetic for this homeowner’s experience, we cannot take responsibility for all these accusations. It is quite possible that the debris on porch and the cigarette butt left behind were from our crew, however we were never given an opportunity to remedy these issues. We have since implemented strict policies regarding smoking on-site because of this situation. It is worth noting that the homeowner paid her bill in full immediately upon job completion. We would still be open-minded to having a discussion with this customer, however our multiple attempts to reach out have been ignored.

It all started with a leak in the roof, which turned into a new roof, facia boards, gutters, reframing and drywall work where the leak was. I had 5 estimates and chose Kitsap Roof Pros/ Joyce construction. They could do it all, no need to find other companies to do each individual project. It was a good experience starting with Brad who came out for the estimate and answered all my phone calls and additional questions. The office manager Tina, addressed any concerns and had great customer service. I communicated the most with the project manager Mark, he would be in contact every step of the way to answer questions and to schedule each of the projects. One project slipped by on scheduling the gutters to be installed but I sure wasn't going to complain they were installed early. The crew did a wonderful job and work was completed as estimated.
