Good service and good food.
I came in without a reservation and they were able to accommodate me, this was around 6pm on a Thursday.
My waiter was attentive and made the recommendation to have the Lasagna Diablo which was delicious- be warned it is a big serving. Good sharing dish. I had it with a local beer.
Highly recommend this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - ScrapFe F.Fairfax Station, VA49613May 12, 2022
Friendly neighborhood restaurant in a quiet setting across from the park. Comfortable semi-outdoor seating. Very large portions easily shared by two. The goat cheese salad was incredible. We loved it. The Lasagna Diablo was rather heavy. Limited selection of draft beer, all blonde. Service was fine. We enjoyed it.

L'Estaminet was probably the best meal of our vacation, we nearly went back the next night for another dinner. It's a wonderful local restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is shielded from the wind, making it a perfect place to spend an evening outside. The staff were young and friendly, and attentive without being intrusive.
The menu is mostly Italian food, and the pasta my husband and I got was outstanding. And they offer both small and large portions! My vegetarian spaghetti was loaded with fresh vegetables and we had more than enough bread and buns. The beer menu is long and the prices were very good. Five very enthusiastic stars!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 11, 2015
Above-average cafe, good prices for Bruges.
* The lasagna looked like the right thing to get and it was.
* Good (if spendy) goat cheese and bacon salad.
* Interior very old world and cosy.
* Location good right on K. Astrid park, but also a bunch of parking spaces and garage entrance and garbage smells too...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian K.Vienna, Austria1297053Nov 11, 2017
This place was recommended to us by yelp. It really is a good hole in the wall place, with very good food. Our main complaint was that the service was kind of poor. The servers were snooty, and they acted like they were doing us a favor by waiting on us.

Food was delicious here. Ordered the Croque Madam (cheese toast with egg on top), Croque Italian (with proschuitto), spaghetti (with yummy melted cheese on top, and Croque Monsieur. Everything was delicious and ingredients were fresh and really good.
There's an inside sitting area with dim romantic lighting and a semi outdoor area with Windows looking to the Park. I would recommend sitting on the patio for nice lighting and view.
I give it 4 stars because I found it just interesting that they told us we couldn't drink our own water. Other than that this experience was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aine R.Montreal, Canada14196Feb 13, 2017
We had a really lovely lunch here, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was filling and tasty, the atmosphere was buzzy and cosy and the music was great! I'd definitely recommend a visit here!

We had the kids spaghetti (huge potions), the diabolo lasagna, and the penne as our mains with the garlic bread and bitterballen for appetizers. Everything was great from the service to the food. Two things to improve would be larger amounts of water and the foods temperature was so hot we all burned our mouths.
