'Walked In' for a pedicure... very prompt and professional service. This nail spa is very clean and bright...Decor with glitz and glam....It was a very relaxing experience...I was pleased and will go back again, when I'm in Salinas!

If you're looking to walk in, this place is set up with a dozen or more nail techs to meet your needs. The inside appears clean and is well equipped and decorated.

We wandered in here mid day on a Friday for mani/pedi's (2 people) without an appointment and were seated in massage chairs for our pedicures in about 15 minutes. The nail techs did a good job, made us feel comfortable and overall we had a Good experience.

Fast forward 7 days and my gel manicure is peeling off already. I'm not sure why, perhaps they didn't do enough coats? Regardless, I paid $100 for my mani/pedi and would sure expect it to last me more that a week. This is my reason for deducting two stars.

Would I try them again? Yes! Giving the benefit of the doubt I'll give this place another try next time I'm in the area. But, you better believe I'll ask them about why my mani didn't last and see if there's anything they can do differently the second time around.

Terrible service from the front desk ladies. I scheduled services for three people. Two full sets and a pedicure. We were seen for the full sets pretty quickly, but half an hour in our third person still hadn't been seen and I witnessed two other ladies get seen for a pedicure while we were still waiting. The lady doing my nails actually had to remind them we were still waiting twice. I kept seeing people finish and other people being helped. The girl in the front didn't even seem to care when I told her about the situation. So incredibly disappointed, we have been coming here for the past 3 years and I can't say that I'll be coming back.

I had Calvin today, he did an amazing job! He's really gentle, quick, and really talented.

I was going to give up finding someone that does nails out in Salinas. But I'm glad I found Calvin!

I've been here before to get a pedicure and had a good experience, however I got a gel french manicure today and absolutely hated it. Calvin was being very rough while cutting my cuticles and made me bleed on 3 out of 10 fingers. I had to immediately put a bandaid after because it wouldn't stop bleeding. He was very rough, even when I asked him to be a bit more gentle. He was very impatient when I was picking out colors and didn't seem to care when I told him to be more gentle. After the manicure, he put alcohol on my nails and made them burn even thought I said to be careful. I had to put antibiotics and bandaids when I got home because they stung. Definitely not going back and would not recommend.

The staff were really nice but the nails were poorly done for how much I ended up paying. It was toward the end of the night so maybe they were rushing to get home. My nails are chipping already and I got gel. The nail polish on my toes are also uneven.

I hate writing bad reviews, it's just so frustrating though when you go into a place that you are paying good money to have a relaxing experience and it is anything but that.
The basic pedicure really is basic. There was supposedly a massage, however fist punching the bottom of one heel while kneading the other was not the massage that I was hoping to experience.
The polish and nail trim I could have done myself at home, this is not the place you want to treat yourself to.

This was my first time at this nail salon. I had a friend who used to come here but stopped due to inconsistency however I wanted to give it a try. I was able to be seen very quickly during the week. I went in for a natural nail mani (gel) $40 and pedi *basic* $30 (regular nail polish). Day of both my mani and pedi looked so good however the reason I'm not giving them a full 5 stars is on day 2 of my nails I see cracking in my nails not sure if it's because it's not acrylic? I haven't been doing extensive work with my hands where I'd be easily cracking or damaging my nails. Definitely would go back but be mindful of how long the color lasts. Linda did my mani and she was so cute and really caring out shaping my natural nails and giving me the opportunity to play with the size of my French tip which I appreciated. My pedi was done very quickly. I didn't catch the name of the person who did my pedi. It was the basic package but it felt rushed.

Highly unsatisfied with my nails! The lady (named Ha) I had rushed through the whole thing and didn't care to pay attention to detail so I have a ton of uneven spots and particles cured into my nails. I asked for a simple black French with a heart on two of my nails and the heart looks like a child did it. It's my birthday and I'm extremely upset with how these came out. I'm honestly considering going and getting them redone tomorrow. On top of all that she was super heavy handed and kept hurting me when she was pushing down on my cuticles. She actually made me bleed a little on my thumb. It was a terrible first experience but the only reason I would consider going back is because my cousin got her nails done by a lady named Lan and she did an amazing job.
