Great tacos. Great service. We had grilled fish tacos, carne asada, grilled shrimp and octopus. We had to order one more taco each because they were so good.
The grilled sea bass tacos had big pieces of fish in each taco.
The shrimp taco had 4 pieces of shrimp.
Asada had plenty of meat.
I will definitely come back.
-we only snapped photos of the 2 additional tacos we ordered after eating the othersHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 20, 2023
This was the first place I ate at when I got to Cabo San Lucas!!
Very friendly service, it was pretty warm in here, so we sat next to the fan, kept cool plus it kept the flies away, lol!!
The salsa platter was good, I stayed away from the really hot salsa. I had 2 grilled fish tacos, they were pretty good.
Very colorful restaurant on the inside, lots of tourists in here also, good place!!Helpful 6Thanks 2Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mar 30, 2024
Getting tacos after having "tacos." Had Al Pastor tacos three ways, and all were very good! I guess all places in this tourist town is expensive. I expected pricing to be a lot less in Cabo than the Bay Area, instead it is more. Great taco's though!

Oh my goodness, you HAVE to visit this place if you're a culture enthusiast! They have everything - and I mean EVERYTHING! As a huge Frida Kahlo fan, I was absolutely blown away by this place. And the food, oh my goodness, the food! We ordered the seafood platter and it was out of this world! Plus, their habanero salsa was the perfect amount of heat - it was so delicious! And don't even get me started on the drinks! You have to try the margarita beer and margarita smoothie - they were both absolutely amazing! Plus, the service was top-notch. Our waiters were not only super attentive, but they were also really easy on the eyes! We had such a blast.

We stopped here for a quick snack after getting off our ship at Cabo. It is within walking distance and just far enough that it's not a total tourist trap.
The prices of the tacos and margaritas are a little more than I expected. It's about on par with a nice nice here in the states. But with that said, we didn't mind paying for good tasting tacos and good margaritas.
The tacos de la casa style tacos I got were a combination of flavorful meats and vegetables. I couldn't remember which one I got, but there were 3 choices and our group got them and they were all tasty.
I can attest since I got one of them.
Service wise here was spotty. We had a large group of 15 and although I know how difficult it can be navigating and serving all of us at the same time but they had forgotten a few things like chips. We got their salsa platter right away and it's so decorative! The salsa in the middle is their hottest, but it's about a 6 out of 10 for me.
You can pay in either pesos or dollars which you can see on the bottom of the bill.
There's a band of that comes around to sing to you here, of course you'll have to tip them if you request a song.
I would come again, try a few different things, and maybe come with less people.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Dec 4, 2023
The shrimp tacos are the business! Have to come back! The guac was fresh the cheese was on point and the shrimp was plentiful great for late-night stopping after the clubs. The way a taco should be. Well-lit at night with taxis near by. Served it with a cola and you have sleep perfectation. What an awesome way to end my night out.

What great service that they have. I was impressed with this young man who was the waiter. He described everything on the menu so well that it makes you want to get it all. It was so hard to choose, but I went with the seafood tacos. I went here based on locals who suggested it to us. This is right by other taco spots, so there's a lot of competition. What makes it stand out is the friendly waiters, the decorative restaurant, and the food.

La Taquiza had the best tacos in the 8 days I've spent in Cabo San Lucas! I met a local here and we became good friends. I told him of my desire to eat mostly seafood here. I asked where a good local spot was that served authentic Mexican food, not the typical food served to tourists. He recommended La Taquiza because that's where he eats. Man, was he right!
I ordered Pesca Del Dia taco, which was Marlin that day, Mahi Mahi taco, and I had to try their asada taco! They brought out the most impressive salsa tray I experienced in Cabo. It consisted of six different salsas. The one in the center was the hottest being a habanero salsa.
Both of the seafood tacos were by far the best au had in Cabo. They were so flavorful and moist. They weren't stingy with the fish either. I was really surprised by the asada taco. It had great flavor and the taco had a generous portion of meat. I forgot to take a photo as it was on a separate visit.
This is one place I will definitely visit again on my next trip. Perhaps this Fall '23'!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 1Apr 13, 2023Previous reviewThis place was recommended to me by one of the locals! This restaurant served up some of the best fish tacos. I ordered their Pesce Del Dia which happened to be Marlin that day. I also ordered a Mahi Mahi a la plancha, which was grilled. It came with a salsa tray of six different salsas with different spice levels. The one in the center was the spiciest. Of course I had a beer to help wash them down. The fish were flavorful, moist, and cooked perfectly. I wanted to try their Al Pastor taco but I noticed the rotisserie wasn't turning. That concerned me. How long was the meat just sitting there at room temperature? But in any case, I will be back. I've been eating mostly seafood since I arrived in Cabo. The seafood has been excellent here so far. So I'm sticking to that diet (mostly) during my stay. I can't wait for my next discovery!
I came in again a couple days later and again ordered fish tacos and one asada taco. The fish tacos were of course delicious, but the asada was one of the best I had. There was ample meat, plus it was full of flavor. Those juicy nuggets were the perfect size. Next time I'll order a couple! - Jan 22, 2023
Our cruise ship stopped at Cabo pretty early (9am) and not many restaurants were open but this place was. The decor was authentic and service was excellent, our waiter was attentive, friendly, and spoke good English.
We ordered a couple of tacos, a quesadilla and Margaritas. The food was good, the quesadilla was smaller than I'm used to. The margaritas were excellent, bonus was the festive glasses. The chips were good, salsa was spicy, even the mild!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
