I was very impressed with this practice after visiting ones that were only concerned with making money this practice took my needs into consideration.
The doctor had a lot of humor and wisdom
The technician that did my x-rays, although she had some difficulty with the machine was very upbeat and kind
I think I found my new dental home

On a return trip today, I found out I won their monthly drawing for patient appreciation! Whaaaat?

Update: Someone from the office continues to call and harass me regarding my review. She will not provide me her name but insists on fighting with me regarding my insurance benefits. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

I called to make an appointment with Dr. Millard-Roth, the previous owner. I stated twice I only wanted to see him when making an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, they staff was less than friendly. The tech who could not figure out how to work the x-ray machine was the one to finally tell me Dr. Millard-Roth was no longer there. Dr. Parekh was condescending and rude, he was adamant I needed treatment that 2 other dentists ended up disagreeing with. Don't waste your time here, the staff has no clue what they are doing, they couldn't even provide me with my correct insurance benefits when they showed me a quote for the services I supposedly needed.

My 90 year old mother has been going here for some time. She went to an appointment in the beginning of June and was told she needed a crown. She was told if she paid up front she could get a 5% discount. She paid $1800 with the discount. She had been being treated for neuroendocrine cancer for a few months and recently was not feeling well. The following week she got results of a CT scan that were not good. She stopped treatment and started hospice care. She called the dentist June 10th, told them she would not be doing the crown and requested a refund. They said they would process the refund. August 4th, she has not received the refund. Follow calls we are told it is in process. I would not recommend this dentist and I would certainly not give them money up front. From what I can tell they are all about the money.

My first experience here. My wife and I were looking for a new dentist as we loved our old one, the office staff, not so much.

I went in on an emergency basis (which forced the issue), even though I wasn't a patient, they got me in (I had called 18 places and would have had a multiple day wait, by the time I came in, I could barely talk and standing hurt)

We looked at what I needed done, and financially it was high. They were very kind and numbed me up so I could go speak to the wife on finances. Truthfully, we were not finding a way to swing all the work so started trying to figure out how to just get rid of the pain that was becoming unbearable, I didn't even want to risk driving.

The staff here worked with us, they found a way to make payments and get the work done...............keep in mind, I am a brand new patient, they don't even know me and they found a way that was affordable. I wont say they can always do this, but talk to them. (Sorry I am awful with names and was in pain when I met them)

I was very impressed with the front desk staff (Yes, this is important to me, I left my old dentist over rude front staff) The Hispanic gentleman has a very calming and inviting way about him, his tone of voice projects a feeling of he want's to welcome you to the office, he caught me as a very empathetic guy, and in any medical, that is important

The young Hispanic female also, very inviting, she knows how to speak to people in a way that gets them relaxed, has a friendly smile and also makes you feel like she is welcoming you into their home.

Finance and insurance person (I really apoligize for forgetting the name), she went above and beyond to make sure I got care in a manner I could afford. She didn't have to do this, as one patient doesn't keep the business going, but she did. And as a smart man, my wife goes over all the insurance and financing for our family, it's what she is good at, so I respect it, she took the time to speak to her also.............you can't ask for more.

As for the actual work, the young lady (Hey, I am 54,my memory is going) that did my initial xray was very kind. We had trouble numbing me up (It's me, it's difficult to do, been that way my entire life), when the drill hit and I went stiff, the comforting hand was appreciated. I can respect an act of kindness. Her work for the parts she did was very efficient , and when doing my temp, she seemed to really care and spend the extra time to get it right, and this was 6pm time to go home to her own family and she didn't rush, yeah, I noticed, and you should know how greatfull I am.

Dr Peterson, I liked him. He is funny, inviting and helps project a relaxed situation, but also that he is on top of things, and I am like every grown male, I am terrified of the dentist.I asked a lot of questions about where he went to school and such, as his voice is relaxing and it helped take my mind off things, and he did not seem to mind. I liked him enough, my wife is making an appointment. I am sure the other dentists in this practice are awesome, as quality people usually are around other people of quality. And I heard (I think his name) Dr Perkh speaking to the mother of another patient, I could hear from his voice the kindness and caring, while I never met him, it's something you can hear

Guessing because they are in Laguna, they are not the cheapest, but lets be honest, when someone has a drill and needles in your mouth, do you want budget or quality ?

I get first hand, sometimes budget has to be the first concern................but this place really does seem to care about finding a way to take care of you, and that is very important.

Special bonus, Wendys is in the same parking lot, you can get a Frosty afterwards

People, I got my new veneers today, and my teeth are gorgeous! If you want your teeth to look their best, and you want the best service from the coolest staff, you must visit this office. Dr. P is so good at what he does, and what is more, he really takes the time to listen to his patients about what they want.

I have been coming to Laguna Hills Dental for 5+ years now! As I was reminded because my XRays need to be done again this next year!

I have loved every interaction I have had with the staff and the doctors. They have excellent additional services that have saved my teeth. I was going once every three months for a while to get my teeth to a good spot and also did my Invisalign here too!

Now I am so happy with my smile and have learned the tools I need in order to keep it this way!

Staff here are EXTREMELY friendly. I hate going to the dentist, but all the people in there kinda make you forget.

I saw Dr.Peterson who was very nice and explained everything that was wrong with my teeth (my fault).

Vera is amazing at the cleanings. Very sweet and quick.

I went in there for dental checkups & they told me I needed to do deep cleanings even though I didn't really need it (have not had one in over 6 years, my teeth always felt fine), without checking what my dental insurance covered beforehand. As a result, my dental insurance rejected the deep cleaning & I got stuck with a $700 bill, in addition to the initial $150 I covered. So I got something I did not need for $850 total since my dental insurance rejected it. What an absolutely incompetent office.

Love this office! From the start spoke to Vince regarding my insurance. He was so knowledgeable and help me understand what was covered at my 1st visit. spoke to Shelby regarding my treatment, shelby was able to tell me what my next appointment was and the cost of every procedure. I had a wellness scan done today and cleaning, learned about my perio number along with the overview of the scan. you get to see everything the health of the tissue, any staining on the teeth, start of decay and the wear from grinding. over all this was the best visit yet! I recommend this office for everyone!

Laguna Hills Dental was very quick to get me in to correct a broken crown. Treatment was great.
