Lakeside Weddings and Events

I was beyond happy with my experience at lakeside weddings and events.
Wynndy was so pleasant to work with.
I felt peace of mind throughout the entire process of wedding planning. Nikki was so sweet and patient. She really brought my wedding day vision to life. I brought a decent amount of my own decor and I couldn't believe how beautifully placed everything was. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The DJ Scott was amazing. He did such a great job. Our bartender Andrea was very sweet and made great drinks. The photographer was great, he continued to check in with us to make sure we captured important moments. All of my wedding guests commented on how amazing the food and cake was, the music, the ambience, decor, and that it was the best most beautifully put together wedding they've ever been to. Everything flowed perfectly. It really was a magical day for us.

We attended a wedding here and it was just lovely. A beautiful setting on a man made lake.

They had the place book from 2:00p to 3:00p and by 2:30p we still hadn't seen the bride, which forced the person presiding over the wedding to be a a graduate of the Evelyn Wood Speed Reading program. I've never heard the vows delivered so quickly.

All in all it was quick and over with. They had other plans for a reception elsewhere but we didn't make it for that.

A nice place but they definitely get you out in an hour and then it's ready for the next one.

This place is a little run down, I remember it being a little "happier" looking about a decade ago, they seem to not be very great at the upkeep. A family member of mine had their ceremony here recently and it was a small and cozy space for about 50 people, no views of the lake from where we were, so that was a little disappointing, but still very nice with the waterfall and lights on the patio area. There's other areas for larger groups which hopefully have the nice views. The bridal suite is right off the main room which is convenient, however once guests started filling up the room we had to take extra caution when opening and closing the door because you could easily see inside, had a couple "oops" moments while some girls were changing/getting ready, but luckily it's all family and close friends so we just laughed it off. Bathroom (ladies at least) also doubled up as storage hidden behind a curtain and it just seemed unprofessional, considering that nearly the entire plaza belongs to lakeside weddings they could surely find a designated storage area.
The real bummer of lakeside weddings is their salon. When I pay to get my hair done I expect it to look good and for the stylists to know what they're doing. I was pretty flexible on what I wanted and told my stylist to do half up half down, a little volume, and some curls. When she first said she's done I was a little confused... my head was shaped into a cone, I asked her to make it a little more rounded and she did very well hiding her frustration with my request. I could have probably done the same thing she did myself and not have to spend money on it. My moms hair is short and she wanted just some volume and maybe a little curl in like how her stylist usually does a simple blow out, she came out looking like she's from a different decade. She was upset, but she's more reserved than me so she didn't say anything. The biggest bummer was the bride who opted for hair and makeup and I felt her frustration from the moment I got in when she told her stylist "here let me fix this" and got up to fix her makeup... oh boy! She had pictures of exactly how she wanted her hair and it came out nothing like she asked. While getting ready in the bridal suite her hair starting coming undone.
As nice and polite and sweet as the staff are, this isn't enough to make someone's wedding a great event, experience and training will go a long way for the staff here.
Lakeside weddings, PLEASE get stylists that have experience and know what they are doing. This is people's "big day," not some random event no one will remember.

I really can't say enough good things about Lakeside wedding our wedding was beautiful. Nikki and Wynndy were such a delight. It was an amazing for the price point Nikki went out of her way to make me feel like the favorite person.The decor was perfect the dj was amazing the photobooth was a whole hit. Our photographer was great I can't wait to the professional photos back . It was an amazing night I will never forget. I had a wonder night, and thank lakeside wedding for this experience it was so positive. Here are a few pictures of the night. If you're think about have a Vegas wedding but not on the actual strip this is were to go. The only down side was the wedding reception was over before you know it

This place is out to get your money. Don't do your events here. They vi to my money and didn't deliver what was be in my contract.

Nice people, eyelashes was on point. I really liked them just to say conversation was a win. If I could afford it I'd be there often to get my lashes done

Nikki was an amazing wedding coordinator! She was so kind and patient. My wedding could not have been more perfect! The grand garden and grand atrium ballroom was the perfect setting for the most enchanted day wedding! Highly recommend that room and ceremony location! Very open and light. All of my guests were Raving about the vibes! The bartender kept the drinks flowing, the photographer kept the pictures going. Our officiant Jim was so friendly and our DJ was awesome! Our wedding was perfect! We had a white cake with the strawberry filling. It was so light, moist, airy and perfect sweetness! Everything a wedding cake should be! We are so glad that we got married here! Perfect day! From the moment we put our deposit down to the moment we said I do, this venue and all staff answered all of our questions and made us feel so confident that we chose this place! Thank you lakeside for everything!

Nice location and well run. Everything was clean and taken care of ... fantastic views with indoor and outdoor spaces. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of. Overall one of the best event centers in the valley.

Everything about our wedding at Lakeside was perfect. Our wedding was originally scheduled to happen in April 2020 and we had to reschedule multiple times. The venue was so kind and flexible. I worked with Angie, Marbelit and Nicole, and they were all fantastic! We used Danelle as our photographer (highly recommend), the DJ was amazing, everyone loved the bartenders, food, and a special shout out to the bakery for the most amazing wedding cake.
I would highly recommend the venue and staff, everything went so smoothly, staff was very professional and easygoing, it was really the best setting for such a special event.

My fiancé (now husband) and I were really excited to check out this gorgeous wedding venue. The only problem was, we had to take care of a relative in New Mexico around the same time as our reservation. But we were determined not to miss the opportunity, so we woke up super early and hit the road from New Mexico to Vegas.

When we finally made it to the venue for our appointment, things didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped. It felt like the coordinators weren't taking us seriously and there was no real connection during the tour. They showed us around the different wedding areas, but it was like they were just going through the motions.

After we sat down to talk about the pricing, they assured us they'd send an email with more details. Sadly, we never heard back from them. It was frustrating because we had fallen in love with the place from the pictures and had envisioned our wedding there. We couldn't help but feel judged, especially because we were dressed casually and probably looked tired after the long drive.

But, as they say, everything happens for a reason. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we found another venue that took our breath away. Not only was it incredibly stunning, but the staff there was so welcoming and accommodating. We knew right away that it was the perfect place for us to tie the knot and create beautiful memories.
