Lan Xang Restaurant

This was honestly the best restaurant I have ever been to. I love Vietnamese cuisine and Thai cuisine but I had never has Lao cuisine before! Everything was incredible, and the service was wonderful. The owner came out to recommend dishes. The restaurant has open walls to the outside, with beautiful ambiance.

We had:

Nam Khao with fermented pork: unbelievable! So amazing. 10/10!

Chicken wings: amazing dry rub with lemongrass flavor. 10/10!

We also had Chinese broccoli and homemade dumplings- both exceptional.

I haven't had the chance to dine it but we've ordered for carry out about three times so far. There aren't many Laotian restaurants or even southeastern Asian restaurants around and I'm so glad we have this spot close by! I've enjoyed everything I've ordered from here so far. This restaurant offers a lot of options. Southern really is something for everyone.

Personally I order so that I can get some items that you can't find anywhere else. Such as the laab and the crispy rice appetizer. The Laotian options offer such great flavors. If you enjoy spicy, sour, salty you'll enjoy the food.

My favorites are the wings which are marinated perfectly and are so crispy that even with carry out it's still crispy.

The Crispy rice appetizer is so flavorful and I love that you can make a lettuce wrap or just eat it as is.

The Laab has a fresh lime flavor but offers a complex fish sauce, spicy flavor.

Thai is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in fort Myers. Love love love the food

Great sushi spot. That's all we came for. Sat at the place where they make the sushi.
Was my guys second time having sushi so I kept it pretty basic. The server was helpful in making great suggestions.
There's a full menu of other yummy food we will come back to try.

A Laos, viet, thái fusion restaurant located in Fort Myers in a cute little plaza with great parking. Interior gives a clean, relax, cultured vibes. Lots of different selections. The owner and staff were very welcoming, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the papaya salad, steak, tom yum soup, and pompano fish. All so delicious and savory each giving its own distinct flavor. I recommend coming with a few friends or family because the portion they give are huge like "family style".

Just decided to stop in while out and about. The menu has lots of interesting items and server Karmen was very helpful answering my many questions. Decided on a lunch bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious. Plenty of food and a great value. I had plenty of energy after such a nice lunch!

This is a very good Asian restaurant. I have never been disappointed. Atmosphere is your basic Asian restaurant style. It also has a bar for drinks which we did not try.

It's about time I found good Asian Fusion in Ft Myers! This place is an absolute gem. We started with a special crab Rangoon appetizer that had curry flavor - what a pleasant, unexpected surprise and truly an original. We got a cucumber and crab salad where the cucumber was cut into spiral pieces and this was probably the most unique of the dishes overall. My boyfriend and I split 2 rolls: Bobalicious and Yellow something. The yellow roll was BOMB! No overpowering mango flavor like other "fruity" rolls. We got tasty Mai-Tais that lit up and to top things off there were live acoustic guitarists taking requests and playing at a delicate volume. WOW. What a treat!

Stopped here for a quick bite and a drink! Just sad that I missed happy hour! Great and friendly service! I had the lychee martini and lychee margarita, I never had the lychee margarita before so had to try it! If it was a Friday I would be having the sake and the lychee martini! So I'll be back!

They have live music here too! Which was great, nice way to end a long work day!

Went a few weeks ago for the first time and the staff were extremely welcoming and kind. The service was quick and the portions massive! Not to mention the beautiful interior.

The food was so delicious; we ordered tempura rolls and it came so beautiful and tasted so, so good. All the food was incredibly yummy. Can't recommend this place enough. I seriously urge anyone to try this place!

A friend recommended Lan Xang and he was spot on. The restaurant space has seen better days, but the food was excellent. We visited on Saturday afternoon around 3:00. We expected the restaurant to be empty, but it was probably about half full, which is always a good sign. My husband had the lunch special with soup, fried spring rolls, and chicken fried rice. He said it was all really, really good. I had two sushi rolls. The Mexican and the Lan Xang roll. I was not at all prepared for what would arrive at the table with the Lan Xang roll (see pictures). It was absolutely delicious. Really the only con was the soft drinks we ordered. They had that weird "dirty soda fountain" taste to them. We'll
