Excellent customer service
They used high end tools for diagnostics
on European cars.
My battery positive cable caused an error code on my dash and my ODBII scanner unable to cleared it. They were able to cleared it for $60.00 with their advanced scanner easily in 5min.
They don't do inspections here according to the shop managers.

my car engine wasn't running after starting. They found the problem and saved money by reworking it and did an excellent job. They came to me highly recommended by another independent mechanic. Very easy to work with, honest and trustworthy

I came to this auto repair shop on 08/12/2021 and requested service B for my mercedes and they charged me almost $400 and did not include everything that service b includes at the dealership they basically gave me a fancy oil change and while doing so broke my undercarriage cover. As any old basic poor mechanic would say they tell me "It was already broke" I told them it was not broken and I did not hear a loud dragging before taking it to the shop. I also asked why did he tell me I need a brake fluid change when mercedes dealership includes that in service b. I can copy and paste a list of things service b includes as listed on Mercedes of Alexandria website.

From out of town, suddenly a weird noise from below my car. Feeling pretty vulnerable, I search online reviews which clearly point to Landmark and Max. Bring in the car, Max is immediately friendly and reassuring. Put car on the lift, quickly see the problem, an easy fix, and an incredibly fair price. What a great experience, a kind and helpful owner, capable mechanics, at a very fair price. No push to fix anything else. If I were local I'd definitely use Landmark Auto for all my car maintenance and repairs. I highly recommend Max and his mechanics. You will be treated well and fairly, and they will fix your car!

I needed to change my breaks and after searching in many places I decided to go here, buy the parts in autozone and took them, it took 5 hours and then they call me to pickup my car, but when I picked it up the car did not feel right, I hit the brake and the car braked very little, so I called and decided to bring it the next day since they told me they had space in the morning, the next day I took it and they told me they would be ready in 1 hour; unfortunately after two hours I was still waiting, one of the mechanics came to tell me that indeed he was not happy with the brakes and that it would take more time, after 3 hours and a half I received the car, it felt much better but it had a sound in the tire, when I told the mechanic, he told me it was because of the parts I had bought and I just left, didn't want to keep dealing with the same people, because of apurar I didn't trust them by then.
I took my car to another mechanic who told me that he had not changed the brake clips, when he changed it, the noise stopped.
It was a lot of time and little efficiency, besides being expensive.

My power steering completely failed one Saturday morning, it had a belt and mechanical issue. I took it to this shop because it was down the street from where I was, the work was completed in a few hours. They did a great job and the price was not bad. Three weeks have past and no issues with my power steering.

I had my car looked at here a couple of months ago and after taking it to another shop (and based on other reviews here) this place doesn't seem very trustworthy. My initial impression of the place was just odd as well. And their online hours on yelp, google maps and their website also didn't match their actual hours.
I got there at 7:30 am since that is what time their website and google maps said that they open and I wanted to get in there as early as I could. Apparently they don't actually open until 8 am though which messed up my schedule a bit but I ended up just waiting until they opened. Their sign on the front door said 8 but they didn't update it online I guess.
A bit before 8 the guy who worked there pulled into the lot and parked directly behind my car blocking it in the parking spot. I thought that was kind of odd since there were several open parking spots in the lot and he seemed to specifically block me in. I turned around and the guy was giving me a weird look and staring directly at me so he seemed indeed to be intentionally blocking me in and then he walked into the shop.
I walked in to let him know I was waiting for them to open and just needed a few things done on my car and he accused me of parking in his lot on other occasions which I had definitely never done. And the car was a green Scion Xb so I'm almost certain that nobody with that type of car had ever parked in his lot before so this guy was just being a weirdo once he saw me parked there that morning (even though the only reason I was there was due to their out of date website hours). I probably wouldn't have even left this review if he hadn't done this. It was just weird.
I ended up leaving the car there to get the work done even though I was kind of put off already by this guy's weird behavior.
He called me back later that day and quoted me $1097 for everything the car needed to have done. I got him to break down the charges for me and I wrote them all down. He quoted me 2 things that didn't end up needing done at all and gave a quote of about double what the second shop I went to quoted me for the same repairs that did actually need done. At one point he said that it would be $100 to clean the corrosion on the battery. Not to replace the battery but just to clean the corrosion. Jiffy lube will clean your battery for $20 so I'm not sure why it would cost almost as much as a new battery just to clean off the corrosion. Read the other reviews as well. Took the wife's car there for a look at a front end problem. Also did an oil change. The oil change was completed but they failed to fill it correctly--in fact it was about 4 quarts too low. An inexcusable, rookie type mistake. That was the first thing my dad taught me--stick the oil after you think you are complete as the final check.
Front end problem was diagnosed as a valve train problem, because their mechanic could not find any noise coming from the front end. They flushed the fuel system to loosen deposits. Immediately after I got the car home, I duplicated the front end problem while driving in a parking lot. Sounds like a CV joint on the driver side is giving way. Not sure how I was able to find that mystery noise but their mechanic could not.
Maybe, just maybe, it was the same mechanic who was short 4 quarts of oil on the oil change and who failed to stick it after the job was complete?Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 370343399Mar 14, 2019
There are two places that I dread going to: the DMV and an auto repair shop. Both places know full well that they have you at their mercy and usually dispense with any customer service or basic manners. Well, Landmark Auto Group (LAG) was not that. I arrived early to get some work done without an appointment. It was fortunate I arrived when they opened because the place gets a lot of traffic. My vehicle was seen quickly and worked on relatively promptly. Thing is that I had taken my car to my usual repair place recently but had forgotten to get this one thing done. I wondered if LAG was going to tell me I needed extra work done or some such unnecessary thing. They provided me literally the same information my usual repair place told me. I have no complaints. The person behind the counter was also very friendly. I may have found a new repair place for my vehicle. LAG is really good, but holy smokes, get there early.

I have so many great things to say about this place. They always take such great care of me and my car. Their customer service is superb and they always know what they are talking about.
