Laurie was recommend to us by a friend. We do not have a complicated tax situation but felt that Turbo Tax was no longer giving us the best return. The first year we used Laurie we were impressed with how throughly she went through all the intake paperwork and write off opportunities. We have stuck with her ever since! She has a portal to upload all the documents and since our employment and tax situation doesn't change much year to year the process to file is always quick and easy. Highly recommend her for all your tax needs. She is also a really nice lady to talk to.

Laurie is the ABSOLUTE BEST. Extremely busy lady during tax time, but that's due to her talent of maximizing your return. She thoroughly KNOWS her business. Tho we are not in her area anymore, she still completes our taxes for us.

I first met Laurie in Nov 2021, when I had her review my 2020 taxes since H&R Block had made some minor mistakes on my return and I wanted to make sure they hadnt made any major mistakes. Laurie said they hadnt and I had her do my 2021 taxes. Well, she had a problem e-filing and sent me and email saying as much and asked me to verify something which I did, to which she responded "We will have to mail. It's still not going through . " This was May 22nd 2022. I stopped by a month later to ask her when I should expect our return and thats when she informs me that I have to make an appointment to sign the return. I get upset and ask her why didn't she tell me that earlier, to which she doesnt have a response. So we make an appointment for today (July 5th) to sign the paperwork and the office is closed. Doors locked, lights off. I emailed her, went grocery shopping, and stopped by again on the way home and shes there. She gives me the papers and tells me to sign and mail them myself. She clearly does not think "Clients Matter" as she does not have an eye for details, forgets appointments, does not give clear instructions. So save yourself the migrane she gave me and find another local tax preparer as this lady like to waste people's time.

Laurie is amazing. She was thorough, quick, and very detail oriented. She was able to uncover several deductions that turned my returns around saving me thousands of dollars. When there was an issue with my state return, she swiftly resolved the issue. Highly recommend her.
