How is the menu pricing?
A:
Very reasonable. I wouldn't say it's on the high side, nor is it on the low side. I think it is fair.

We ended up at Le Cafe du Val on a weekend trip to the Las Vegas area. It's such a charming little spot with AMAZING food. We thoroughly enjoyed the mini lobster rolls and prosciutto sandwich!
We'll be back!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 553291481Apr 15, 2024
FOOD: They have a good amount of food selections here and it smells great. We got ours to go though and I'm kinda glad we did considering the service. Also in my quest to find the best French bakery in Las Vegas and Henderson, one of the main things I was coming here for was not there... the Pan Aux Raisin! I was disappointed but rolled with it. We got a cappuccino, a cinnamon roll, blueberry turnover and a lemon zest with sugar crepe. The cinnamon rolls is amazing, the blueberry turnaround was not bad my fiancé really enjoyed his crepe.
AMBIANCE: Beautiful place and seems cozy in here with plenty of seating inside and out but we opted not to stay and ordered to go. Very clean establishment as well.

SERVICE: It was our first time here and we weren't feeling the vibe when we came inside as well as when we were looking at the pastry. There was a good morning and can I help you but whomever the tall French gentleman is behind the counter (not sure if he was the owner or not) wasn't very warm and it was kind of a turn off. We asked where do we place our order and he pointed at the register that he was standing behind. Now this should've been obvious to us I guess but the other French bakeries we've gone to have taken our order while we were looking at the pastries so we wanted to be sure. There's no sign at the partitions saying "Order Here" so we wanted to make sure, being it was our first time here. He didn't seem particularly impressed with that or the way my finance wanted his crepe and kept asking if he wanted things on it that he didn't ask for lol, but in fairness to him I'll assume he was just trying to understand exactly how he wanted it. The younger male staff with the blond hair was very nice as well as the young lady that gave use our cappuccino. We may come back and give it a second chance but not entirely sure. Perhaps we'll come at a different time of day to see if the vibe is different because I still have to try their Pan Aux Raisin. We were there before 9am on Sunday morning. Was kind of a let down because we really wanted to love it here.

My aunt was visiting from out of town and our house was being cleaned, so we were looking to kill some time in the neighborhood. Had driven by CDV on several occasions but never had a chance to try.
When we arrived, it was apparently about 10 mins before they were closing so they told me the kitchen was closed but we could still buy the remaining pastries. I told him great, and that it was our first time there.
From there we looked at what was left, and were waiting for someone to assist us. There were about 5 people behind the counter, no other customers waiting, and nobody offered to help us lol. After about 5 minutes I had to ask someone to help.
What's even crazier is they had a tray of desserts they put away in the fridge while I was talking to the employee (owner?), so I didn't even get to see what it was and had to ask them to bring it back out, since they were just trying to verbally describe them while pointing to the fridge.
Just found all this odd, that they wouldn't be trying to showcase their goods to first time customers esp at the end of the day when most bakeries consider next day items lesser quality. And that nobody offered to help us while we were standing there.
But it is what it is...
The pastries themselves were amazing. 5 stars. Each so unique, different textures and flavors, pretty masterful honestly. Ordered about 6-7 different items, cinnamon bun, apple walnut tart, berry tart, two types of donuts, peach tart is all I can remember. Came to $50 bucks
Maybe they know they're so good they don't feel they need to showcase anything, lol. I don't know... but it was that good and I'll be back again. Hopefully with better experience in the service department.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 2 - Apr 8, 2024

We REALLY enjoyed ourselves at this cafe!!! Very spacious place, and the decor was very cute! Staff was nice, no issues with service.
Of course, except some pricier items, because this is a specialized sort of cafe, focusing on a particular cuisine. With that being said, I absolutely loved everything that we ordered! My favorite (surprisingly) was the cinnamon roll, because it was so flaky and delicious and different from your typical cinnamon roll. The breakfast sandwich was so good! Every thing we tried was actually really tasty. The salad accompanying the breakfast sandwiches had a nice tart dressing. I can't wait to try more items on their menu!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 11, 2024

Buttery and soft crepe with an ample amount of Nutella, the serving was just right. I ordered cold matcha with almond milk and lavender syrup: I can taste the hint of almond, and the matcha is not bitter nor too sweet. I love the alternative to sit cozily outside or inside. It was a beautiful sunny day aided with superb friendly staff. I recommend trying this new spot.

As you walk in you are greeted by a beautiful musical ambience with their outdoor speakers. Whether this meal is to indulge in some cultural enjoyment or a visit for a little whimsical afternoon this place was a simple delight. Service was efficient and friendly. The pastries looked too good not to want to eat everything in sight. The fact I could hear multiple conversations in French by patrons and employees added to the experience that I wasn't expecting.
I had the Espanol galette that was very tasty. Wonderful presentation and surprisingly filling too.
Decided to order an almond croissant and the Burrata Caprese Sandwich for lunch later. Couldn't help myself.
Plenty of seating and fast service. Clean and very well kept facilities.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Bobby D.Ashland, OR09Apr 14, 2024
Just got the worst latte of my life here.
Barista had shitty attitude because they had to remake an incorrect drink. Pulled the shot hot and fast tasted like burnt 7-11 coffee and the foam was trash as well. I've had better coffee out of a machine. When you spend $7 on a coffee it should be incredible. Threw it away and went to Mothership. If you're eating here (great food) get your coffee first.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 473564Feb 17, 2024
The Parisian vibes are unmatched locally. Their expansion is warranted and turned out so chic and beautiful. The patio is also great for warmer days. Always a perfect crepe and cappuccino here. Don't shy away from trying other items. The pastries are always fresh and amazing. I've also tried the quiche and loved it. The staff is quick to serve and clear tables as needed; making it always a pleasant experience!
