Delicious and great service! Had the beet soup and stroganoff. Both were wonderful! Would
      Definitely go back.

Wonderful restaurant with excellent food. Tricky to find and down a very narrow little street alley, which made it all the more fun. Highly recommend.

It's next to Anne Frank Garden. Relaxed atmosphere. Good food, and service. Not inexpensive. They close in the afternoon, between lunch and dinner.

Easy to miss Le Hangar...off a small side street. Across from Pompidou museum.

Deliciously prepared items. I chose two appetizers of French lentil Salad as well as the mini ravioli made with aubergine (eggplant) and maybe leeks. And ice cream and sorbet dessert.

Note: surprise came at end and no credit cards accepted. Together, the four of us did not have $230 Euros combined. After offering to wash dishes, made a run to the nearby ATM.

We just happened to walk by this restaurant thinking that we were going to be forced to eat lunch, and to our surprise, they were serving brunch. We had the most delicious breakfast we have had since we've been in Europe this time. The eggs were outstanding. Every little dish that they served us was better than the next. What a wonderful end to our vacation in Paris!

Not fine dining- just a quiet little place with above average food. it's about $50 per person for a starter, main course, and wine....cheap for Paris. Service is excellent and they seem happy to see you. Good mix of tourist and mostly locals. They use an online translation service to translate the menu into English so it's not a perfect translation. For example, they call pumpkin "red squash". There were 4 of us who each ordered something different. We shared our food and everyone liked all the dishes.

This is a great place for Americans to enjoy good French food but could be intimidated by high-end French restaurants. We felt very comfortable and welcomed.

We came in on Valentine's Day without a reservation; poorly planned on our part. Despite that, the hostess was extremely accommodating and patient with us; sat us at a table despite being extremely busy.

The wine selection was comprehensive and fairly priced. The burgundy we had was exquisite. We had the tarte canard foie gras, the beef stroganoff and the chocolate soufflé. Words don't exist that thoroughly explain how delicious, delectable, and rich the food was. The meal was both warm, homey, and familiar yet extravagant, new and mind-blowing. The staff was kind, friendly and attentive.

Our experience at Le Hangar will forever be a part of how I define and describe my Paris experience. Thank you very much.

This place is a backup spot that I love every time I return to it. I celebrated my birthday here a few years ago when they were kind enough to accept a group of 20 of us. Since then I've been back several times and recommended Le Hangar to friends. Everyone who goes loves it.

It's casual, it's friendly, the food is excellent - simple, elegant, well thought out, well executed and very tasty. Their raviolis with an aubergine sauce are a stand out dish and the foie gras poelee was delicious too. Their desserts are always worth checking out too.

I will be back to Le Hangar as it's such a pleasant place, where one can often get a table and where the food is reliably good.

Note they don't accept credit cards - just cash and cheques.

We came here on the recommendation of a friend, but after a pretty "blah" experience, we wonder if maybe this place has let the quality slide.

A starter of salmon tartare was very under seasoned and bland, though another starter involving sardines was tasty enough, and a rabbit liver terrine was nice and rich, but not so amazing that it would have you pining for more.

But things got a bit weird from there. I did something I never do and ordered their salmon. I usually never order salmon in restaurants because no one cooks it with nearly the same drool-enducing perfection as my wife. (She understands that you need to serve it on the rarer side, and her's is always orgasmically juicy, tender and packed with flavor.) Le Hangar's salmon, sadly, was overcooked and under seasoned, totally reminding me of why I never order salmon in restaurants. It came with a few piles of carrot puree, which were also strangely under seasoned, and was served atop this weird orange sauce that didn't really go with it or do anything to enhance the flavor. It wasn't horrible - just bland and not what I'd expect from a chef in a restaurant in Paris. Uninspired and amateurish.

My wife and our friend both ordered what was essentially a shepherd's pie but with chunks of duck confit under the bed of mashed potatoes instead of lamb. It was quite tasty and interestingly different, but I'm not sure any of us would say it was especially life-altering.

Overall, this was a pretty "meh" kind of meal, and we certainly wouldn't return. You should only come here if you're looking for food that's bland and flavorless.
