Great spot to find traditional Lebanese food.
A few of their specialities include Shawrma, fatayar (small triangle stuffed pies), zataar, manakish (flatbreads from their brick oven), falafel and hummus
All of which have authentic Lebaneese flavors due to the use of traditional spices and cheeses.
There are a few tables inside, though I consider this mostly for take out.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Jun 26, 2022Previous reviewGreat food, friendly service. Loved the falafel. Perfect for take out. I wish there were more tables

I have no idea why this place is called Lebanese!! To me, their food is as far from being Lebanese as Richmond is from Beirut.
We tried a bunch of stuff and nothing tasted Lebanese, something is very wrong here. It's much closer to Indian food, spices wise at least.
Putting beef chunks in a rap does not make it beef shawarma! Meat pies reek of rose water maybe? Some very unpleasant strong taste and smell.
And to make things worse, it's way overpriced, especially for food you end up throwing away.
There are plenty of lebanese places in the area, never again!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jim B.Richmond, VA1188Feb 10, 2024
This place has food as good as mom's but not as good as grandma's! Service is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The place is a strip mall and is serviceable but does not have a grand appearance.

Their menu has plenty of authentic Lebanese food - our favorite was the hummus and Zaatar...so fresh & flavorful! We also ordered the chicken shawarma wrap but it was not our favorite - the fries were incredibly soggy and the wild cucumber pickles overpowered the entire wrap. However, there are so many other things on the menu that we will be back to try something different.

I probably should have gotten the shawarma with the pita wrap. But I have been trying to eat more protein and less carbs so I figured the shawarma plate would be better for me.
CHICKEN SHAWARMA NO BREAD/EXTRA CHICKEN - 11.99
The take out container was pretty small and when I initially opened it, I was pretty disappointed by all the bland colors of the chicken, fries, and pickles. The fries were pretty soggy and oily too. For $12, I expected more food - felt like there wasn't much chicken sadly. Besides the unappetizing colors, at least the chicken was pretty tasty. The chicken was seasoned decently well with lots of spices and the garlic sauce was a good complement with the chicken. There were a few fries that weren't extremely soggy or greasy which went well with the garlic sauce as well. Overall, still disappointed by the amount of food I got and the quality.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jack S.Richmond, VA4118Feb 3, 2023
A great thing to have locally - a place that makes freshly baked Fatayer and pita sandwiches right in front of you in a big pizza oven! The Fatayer is amazing - served piping hot, and their falafel is also possibly the best in town.
So why not a fifth star? Two reasons. One is that the menu is rather limited. The other is that the item which is intriguingly (and as we will see, misleadingly) called "spiced potatoes" on the menu that are served with platters are no such thing - they are thin soggy fries. They contain no spices, and in fact seem to be from a frozen bag.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Jul 18, 2021
I can only review the baklava since I did not get any food from here. However, the baklava was really good. They sell a 4 pack with a small sample of the options there. all of them were good. Some were sweeter than others so there is something for everyone.
I hope to get back here and get a sampling of the food that they serve.
Oh- in one of the reviews it said you have to call ahead for baklava. That may have been true at one point, but not now. They have a rack as soon as you walk in with lots of packages of baklava!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jul 8, 2022
Very authentic Lebanese restaurant, that they make everything fresh. I didn't try their food, just went to get the desserts to go, their Baklava is amazing although only two pieces for$5.99 is a little pricy. I' also bought a pack of frozen sfiha, it doesn't taste as good as the fresh baked one. Will come back to try their other food that's fresh out of the oven

Delicious zataar and manakeesh! The baba ganoush is really great too. Takes 15 or 20 min to make the food and the ambiance isn't amazing so consider carryout.
