Many years ago, Legend's started out as a humble open air corner stall that was famous among the students and staff of the nearby Universities, especially UPM. People would come here in droves for their banana leaf rice and signature claypot briyani. Over the years however, Legends has improved and diversified their menu and renovated their cramped stall to be a brightly lit, comfortable enclosed diner complete with air-conditioning and a rentable banquet hall upstairs
Legend's also runs a catering business in addition to their restaurant in Serdang. In recent years several Legends franchises have also opened in Puchong, Kelana Jaya and Brickfields. Their signature claypot briyani is unique and one of a kind. I particularly like the mutton topping. Other toppings include chicken, fish and seafood, as well as several vegetarian toppings. The rice is warm, moist and spicy, and the claypot rice is served with a side of cool anion raita which goes really well as it balances out the fiery spice.
On days I don't feel like having briyani, another favourite is their utappam which is light and fluffy. The prices here are slightly higher than all your other regular Indian eateries but for the comfortable interior, I don't mind paying slightly more.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
