Great job as always! She really does a great job with cut and color. I can not recommend her enough to all my friends and family. You should definitely try her out yourself. Her prices are great too!

She runs her own show and not out of a big salon but does a job equal or better than the big pricey salons. I'm not sure about all these people that mentioned her personality...she was so kind and sweet. I also asked her before I went what the Groupon covered and what it didn't. She was very straightforward with that as well. She's well worth what she charges and will be back.

Love this place!!!! I came in on a really stressful day where I just kind of needed some me time. Karen did my hair and I am in love with it!!!! I literally walked out of the salon went to do a couple errands and I've had so many people compliment me and say wow where did you go get your hair done? Seriously people everywhere in the DMV this is where you gotta go!!!

The one thing that I love is that I showed them a picture of kind of what I needed and wanted and I said do you guys think this will work and they were just so awesome! Everyone needs to go!!!

TO CLARIFY. This is the only review I've ever written on Yelp in regards of this business.

I purchased a Groupon for this hair salon based on the high reviews and affordable price. I called a couple times to make an appointment, but no response. So I left a voicemail stating I could also receive text if it was easier. So Leslie and I were texting back and forth. I sent her a photo of my hair and sample pictures of what I wanted done. When I gave her my name to book my appointment she assumed and blamed me for a bad Yelp review stating I was trying to ruin her business. The Yelp review user name is Lu. L. My name is Lucero L. on Yelp. So I can see why she would think it was me. IT WASNT ME.

I'm so appalled and annoyed by how she reacted and accused me of the bad review because it wasn't just a misunderstanding it was continuous and unnecessary repetition that I was the bad yelp reviewer.

I find it idiotic and crazy for her to assume that I'm the person who wrote the review without even meeting me to confirm that it was indeed me. Leslie could have conducted herself in a professional manner and approached me about the review once she saw me in person to confirm that she had worked on my hair before. Common sense would be that if I was the bad reviewer I wouldn't be going back after getting my hair done with her. Since the bad review was written some time in June 2017.

TO ADD ON. Even after speaking to her via a phone call and explaining several times in both English and Spanish, she wouldn't apologize. SHE WAS RUDE. EVEN THOUGH I HELD MY COOL because I really don't like drama.

I contacted Groupon and I can't really get a full refund. I got Groupon credits and thankfully was able to find a high reviewed salon. Message me directly if you'd like that information for a better experience. YEA LESLIE. NOW I REALLY AM DAMAGING YOUR BUSINESS SINCE YOU WANT TO ACUSE ME OF DOING SO. Sorry everyone reading this. I really am not a mean person but she really ticked me off with this BS.

Leslie failed to handle business like a professional and treated me like crap as a new client without ever meeting me. Probably even made money since I didn't get a refund and Groupon gave me credit FOR MY INCONVENIENCE.

I was excited to come to her and I didn't even get a chance to book an appointment.

I received a Microdermabrasion Treatment with a Deep Cleansing Facial today, after purchasing a Groupon. Karen was very polite, friendly and professional. She did an excellent job. My skin feels great. I will definitely be going back soon!

Karen did my hair for the first time today. She was friendly and listened to what I wanted to achieve with my hair. She nailed it! The cut and color was exactly what I'd hoped for. I will be going back. Thanks Karen for your attention to detail.

Groupon buyers beware! I just spoke with her on the phone and she doesn't honor whatever service is on the deals. I bought Haircut,Color,Conditioning and Style. So anyway,i called the salon and ask for appt availability and made sure that i mentioned the Groupon.She said, "what did you buy on Groupon?" and i told her exactly and she was saying that it's for touch-ups.I said, "well it says color so i believe it's a single-process color/all over color". She said, "if that's what u want i need to pay extra$" I said, "how much would it be? bec in that case, i said i don't think i will be using a lot of hair color product since i'm gonna get a haircut in the first place? " Then she said,"how long is your hair?". "Past my shoulder.." she told me that i will also be paying extra for that bec it's suppose to be only a trim. So i said,well it did specifically said HAIRCUT in Groupon. She said she's the one who creates the Groupon (WHATEVER THAT MEANS) and i told her that she needs to write specifically about stuff like that then and i just said,"Okay,Thank you then!"
PS: I picked her salon because of the good reviews so i was very excited and had high hopes but i'm disappointed with her lack of professionalism. Pls don't put deals on Groupon then if at the end you still want to charge people for regular price. Not everyone is mentally challenged.

I had a similar experience to some of the previous reviewers who had purchased services on Groupon. I got a text message confirming my appointment. Two hours later I got another text message saying that my appointment had been canceled because I hadn't replied (even though the original confirmation message never asked for a reply). Upon texting back and forth with an extremely unprofessional person (presumably the owner), it became clear that my appointment was given away to someone who wasn't using a Groupon. This was honestly one of the weirdest exchanges I've ever had with a business. I traded my Groupon in for a real salon in DC.

First of all , its tiny boutique style shop . Very clean and with elegant style.
Second, Karen was my stylist and I think she did amazing job with my very problematic hair.
She talked me into changing my usual style into something new and I love it!
I'm definitely going back to them again!

I'm glad I found this place!! I will definitely will be going back. I made an appointment with Karen in the beginning I was a little nervous. But, Karen made me feel so comfortable, very kind & friendly. she asked me what I want it and also gave me suggestions of what she thought it would be best for my hair. She explained everything to me with details. We had a lovely conversation, I highly recommend her! Btw. My hair was black and the transformation she did to my hair without damaging was amazing!
