Great dive bar on Western Ave. Cold beer and friendly service. What more can you ask?

This place rules -- 'nuff said. We expected a dive bar, but we got in return was a cool bartender who asked for our names & pronouns at the door, dope music, and more than reasonable drink prices. It's a great place to be, and there's such a palpable feeling of community as soon as you walk in. If I lived closer, I'd 100% be a regular.

One of the best dive bars in the city no doubt. Christmas lights year round, juke box always on point, small cramped pool table, malort flowing, no Red Bull. Have another. It's all just right.

Great Neighborhood bar, parking on the side of the building...
Great addition to your bar family, audra is so attentive and friendly. Makes my drinking time at your bar a pleasure. Definitely will be back.

Interesting crowd of people but the bartender Carla was awesome. My boyfriend doesn't drink alcohol so she poured him a shot of soda water to take with everyone. Love her

"Are you guys freaking kidding me?"

That phrase I said when I realized that my friends actually came here. WHY? Do I really want to hang out with the hil-jack locals? Do I want to chat with the local drunk guy who everyone laughs at when he makes obscene comments instead of throwing him out? HELL NO. No thanks. The parking area looks super shady and is a perfect placed to get mugged.

The pool table seriously needs to be leveled. There is no room to even shoot without having your stick bang into the narrow walls. I dont even think that this "bar" is even a full bar. They don't serve food, the location sucks, the employees are rude. Word to the wise....STAY THE FAWK OUTTA HERE!

ps. I think the reviews prior to mine...are fake...and done by the business to boost thier crappy "bar"

      First to Review

I'm probably taking some street-cred from Liberty Lounge just by reviewing it here (or you can probably call it 'Da El-El -- if you don't already call it that you should start calling it that). I believe this is the essence of the faux-dive establishment.

It's a dingy little joint with a pool table and a bunch 'a chairs and a bar. It wasn't very hoppin' until a few of us came over from another place -- we stayed 'til last call and the bar tender was super-nice, chatting everyone up and being really friendly-like.

Apparently you can get little pizzas there -- I saw someone eating one but unfortunately I can't taste with my eyes so I don't know how it tastes. 8 bux for a large: smelled good.

Anyway, I really liked this place. I'll go back next time I am in Roscoe and I feel like ending the night in a chill fashion.

Minus one star only because we couldn't find the fabulous "Tell Me When to Go" by the stellar E-40 on the jukebox. BUT...

PRO TIP: At first it looks like there are no good songs on the jukebox, but if you touch "Super Song Selection", it takes you to a screen where you can retrieve a song by pretty much any group you want.

Wow--What a cast of characters in this Joint is about all I have to say!! Standard DIVE complete with a plastic plant in the front window as well as Star Wars shit hanging from above the bar. It's Cheap/Patrons are shady/bartenders are hilarious!! Definitely something to witness, that's for sure!! LOUD JUKEBOX!! GTFJD

Good neighborhood bar where you have the good usual suspects.

Beer, small Craft Beer selection, liquor, pool table, jukebox, snacks, and good bar tenders.

Good people watching with locals and people from all sides of the city coming in here for a beer or two any given day or night.
