Before we found United Church of God, Tacoma we attended a service here, was a little different as its a casual church, even the Pastor doesnt wear suites, he is just in normal every day cloths.
So I guess if your looking for a casual mainstream church this would be a good one, we just wanted one that went with everything the Bible said, keeping the 4th commandment and stuff like that.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Janelle M.Tacoma, WA01Dec 25, 2016
I found this church to be all right. There no way to get hold of the pastor. Everything you can find out about them is on their web site, A church member does do the phone only if there is a message on it. You can only leave a message if you have already went through their website and filled out one of their connect card. Even then you do not usually get a response and even then you are referred back to the website. The pastor has a site you can connect to but even at that you really don't want to leave any messages that you want others to see. It is almost like Facebook. He only seems to preach on salvation which is great but then doesn't hook up anyone to mentor these new Christians. They are just left to flounder on their own. The pastor isn't always their to preach. I went about 8 times and the pastor maybe was only there 3 times.
