Great food, free arcade for kids to play while you wait. The burritos are delicious. Biscuit bowl is also top notch.

Little Dipper has to be one of my top favorite breakfast spots in Anchorage.

Family-owned spot with amazing staff that remember returning guests and create the homie ambiance that this place resonates.

Their cooking is spot on and coffee is always being offered and never missing at your table!

They even have a small arcade on one side of the restaurant to keep the little ones (and not so little ones) entertained.

We stayed in anchorage for 10 days and returning to Little Dipper was never a question.

Located in the corner of a strip mall, this little hole in the wall diner can be easily missed. But I'm telling you guys - you DONT want to miss it! We ended up going on a Saturday at 1130ish and The seating is limited, but worth the wait! It only took us only 15 minutes to be seated with a swarm of people in front of us, gave us time to catch up tho. We went with friends EVERYONE got good food. Since Im an Uber early riser it was lunch time for me. I got a French dip, with an over easy egg on it. Nothing to write home about, but it was good in the same. Tater tots are always good, just make them extra crunch && there is nothing to gripe about. The husband got the Philly cheese steak omelet. I did take a bite and it was quite good (tried to avoid the godly amount of cheese) *lactose here* but he loved it! Our friends got the 2x2x2 pancake, sausage links and eggs. She was pleased && her husband ordered the country fried steak scramble, as you can see mountains with delish country gravy. That was, I think, the highlight of the meal.

Super pleased over all with EVERYTHING. They are a well oiled machine. Even when they were busy, a couple of our toast got misplaced, but it was right out in a jiffy once we mentioned it.

Never let the old time diner vibe die! This place is a must go!

      Great food and awesome
      Vibe.

      The wait was a while
But it wasn't the restaurant's fault.

It was due to fricken Karen's specifically hassling the servers and front workers into wanting the booths. Like what's the damn issue with regular tables.
So if you're a damn Karen-- literally f off and eat at home. Don't bother going out if you're gonna make workers' jobs harder than they already are.

Keep up the great work staff!

This is a great breakfast spot. It's good traditional diner food. The portions are generous and the service is quick and friendly. I love that they serve Coke products. My daughter loves the hot chocolate with a large dollop of whipped cream and sprinkles. The booths are comfortable and there are lots of old school video games to play when you have to wait for a table.

Second time taking our family to Anchorage from Kodiak. The reviews looked good for this place for breakfast so we stopped in. I'm so glad we did! The food was delicious! The staff was wonderful too! I ordered the classic eggs Benny with a tomato added, it came with a choice of tots, home fries or grits. I got the home fries, obvious choice. The kids ordered a pancake stack and a biscuit bowl, I sampled both and was equally impressed. We will definitely be back next time for breakfast!

Amazing food, like still thinking about my bagel sandwich.

However, the owners either let some guy ask for political signatures or it was the owner (dude asked everyone at the restaurant and had a sign on the wall encouraging people to sign the petition).

It's one thing to have the sign up.

It's another to go table to table in such a small restaurant asking for personal information for political reasons on a supposedly relaxing Sunday morning.

Little Dipper Diner is very cute and reminds me of a lot of diners I've visited in New England. I wish came here when I lived nearby. The walls are decorated with classic Coca-Cola memorabilia and they have a mini arcade with old school video games.

I visited for brunch on a Saturday so there was a little bit of a wait for a table. There isn't much room to wait inside but there is a bench outside.

The menu is mostly typical American breakfast dishes with some more interesting items such as crab benedict. I ordered the California omelette, which came with bacon, mushrooms, avocado, and Swiss cheese. There was a nice balance of ingredients and the avocado was very fresh. The omelette came with home fries and toast which were a nice addition. The home fries were not the best I've had (although to be fair I'm pretty picky about home fries) but they were good.

Staff were very friendly and the food arrived quickly. Prices are a great deal for the portion sizes and food quality.
