Little Road Farm Stand

We had lunch at the crab shack next door, and as we left we wandered over the cow field behind the place, and noticed that there is a farm stand. It's a small place, with not a lot of things, so it may not be a one stop shopping, but what it lacks in variety it makes up for amply with quality and service.

They sell local strawberries, tomatoes, local honey, etc that you see at all farm stand/farmers market in Florida, they also have boiled peanuts, pots of herbs, as well as raw milk, raw cream, and local eggs. It's not easy finding raw milk, I wish I had a cooler with me so I can buy some!

Very nice lil farm stand. Reasonable prices. They habe some morunusual items like white eggplant and cactus fruit. They also hve a grest variety of honeys. With honeycomb, bee pollen, etc. Some jams, corn relish, hot sauces. But the fruit is the big draw. Avocados (Florida and Haas), various apples, pluots, etc. Deals for stuff that's going off in the back ($1 a basket). Nice people.

Herbs are excellent, very fresh.

I have been there two times, two different people working the register; asked each of them if there was anywhere to get direct from farm local beef. The first person said "I don't know I don't live around here." The second person still didn't know of anyone but was more loquacious. However, as I was leaving I heard him refer to me as an "ass clown customer." Really, I literally asked two questions. Maybe the question limit is 1 at this location. LOL

My wife and I love coming here to purchase our produce. This farmers market is fresh non-gen food and you can save up to 50-75% compared to other retail food stores. Stock-up...
