Ordered take-out again and it was perfection. Had the best birthday dinner for my husband at home. It was fresh, delicious and we had leftovers. The specials are well worth the price for quality AND amount. Thank you again.

Oh no 0Jan 9, 2024Previous reviewReview is about our take-out order. We've eaten in twice and had a good experience both times. I thought the first time we went years ago, there wasn't too much flavor. 2nd eat-in I enjoyed it, but again, I just expected more flavor, but their seafood has always tasted fresh.
We did take-out and ordered their most popular entree with 1lb of snow crab legs and 1lb of dungeoness plus all the crawfish and shrimps. The takeout was heavy and beautiful. I don't know if it's just letting the seafood sit in the sauce a little longer but this experience, the seafood had so much flavor! Everything was fresh and hot. The amount of food you receive is well worth the price. We had a great dinner and leftovers. Their crawfish are so big and it's cooked perfectly. I've been to boils and seafood buffets and their crawfish is crumby, because it's been cooked too long. I don't think I've ever had that experience at live crawfish. Everything in the boil was cooked perfectly.

It didn't look good and then we went inside and it was empty, but I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent service from our waiter he explained the menu to us gave us lots of options to customize our meal and when our food came, it looked and smelled good. Yes it was plastic utensils and paper plates but the food was delicious and plentiful. Our server came back with free refills and asking if we had enough. If you leave hungry from here you did something wrong.

We ordered the 71.99 platter from Live Crawfish for Mother's Day for pick up to eat at home, along with a half dozen of blue crabs. We also added clams to the platter so after tip our total was a little over $130. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I've always loved this place and recommend it to anyone looking for good, fresh seafood in the area. The entire tray of blue crab were mushy and inedible. We got dungeness and snow crab as well. I didn't get a chance to taste the snow crab but the dungeness was also mushy. The crawfish were great and so were the clams and shrimp. But to spend that much money to not be able to eat majority of the food is ridiculous. I won't be coming back or recommending live crawfish for awhile.

I've been coming here since they opened awhile ago and every time has been A1! I even ordered from them for Christmas last year and my family couldn't get enough. Great customer service as well. They are always so friendly and even added beignets to my Christmas order for free! Lifelong customer for sure!

Cooked seafood along with great spices and great service than look no further! Live Crawfish and I are besties at this point. Quite honestly I may see them more than my actual best friends I've never had a bad experience here!! The food is amazing. Full of flavor and so fresh!!! The service is great too!! They are active on social media so you know exactly what kind of specials they have going on and all you have to do is call them and they will have your meal ready in about 20 minutes. OH MY GOODNESS! Man this was good! We came from Utah to visit friends in and around Richmond. One of our good friends who lives in Richmond took us to this place. We were NOT disappointed! We ordered the largest thing we could complete with lobster, and let me tell ya, the whole thing, including the sausage, was top notch! It doesn't look like much, but the service and the food was truly great! The mussels were huge, and very fresh! Potatoes, snow crab, the lobster, and the sausage were all just incredible! I can't say enough about this food - it was garlicky and flavorful - way better than other boils I've had. Go here! Sit down, pick what you want, and spend the money! you won't be disappointed! Don't leave out the sausage... it was amazing!

If you want some New Orleans seasoned seafood, by all means go and you won't be disappointed at all! I just love this place and now they have a location in Midlothian! The atmosphere in both locations are both so relaxing and inviting for a pleasant dining experience.

A few of us LSU fans enjoyed fresh flown in from Nawlins perfectly boiled crawfish.. some had boiled shrimp & fried oysters. All devoured delicious bite sized beignets. We wore our powdered sugar as trophiesgreat food, atmosphere & service. Nathan, owner works very hard. It's our "Geaux To" for crawfish fix
