I have been a faithful client of Joanne's for seven years. Tucked in the Golden Gate plaza this little shop is packed. I went to Vivienne for a year and then switched to Jo because she liked doing the designs I would scheme up for my manis.

This family owned and operated business is by far the best in this area. They have extremely reasonable prices and all of the techs are quite talented.

I'm also impressed by the fact that they remember your name right after your first visit! It's a nice personal touch, in my opinion.

They have a ton of colors to choose from and I have never walked away with a bad mani.

And this place is immaculate. Seriously. Even before the pandemic this place was spotless!

I always recommend this business when someone compliments my nails simply because they're the best!

I am very upset with the service and customer service I received today! I arrived at 2:55pm for my 3pm pedicure appointmet and they told me that they would be right with me. I had to ask multiple times when I was going to be helped. At 3:30pm they called me back, then I sat in a pedicure chair for another 30 minutes, still haven't started my service. Finally at 4pm someone provided me my pedicure service that I was supposed to receive an hour ago. This type of service is simply disrespectful and completely unprofessional. This is not the first time I have had this kind of service here, I will not be going back.

worst service ever ! I had a 1:00 appointment and waited over 1 1/2 hours to be taken back for my mani/pedi - if I hadn't been in a time crunch and leaving for out of town the next day I would have left ! No apology or compensation for waiting so long . Will never go back

First experience was amazing, went back for another appointment and had a different mail tech. My gel chipped after not even one week after having them on. On top of that I got a weird nail infection on 3 of my fingers afterwards, not sure how clean they are. I'm still dealing with the infection even a few weeks after I had them done

It did take longer than expected to get seated, and start getting my nails done, but once i got seated , it was good. My nails looked good, and my friend's nails looked good too!

This was not my first time going to Liz's Nail Spa so I felt confident taking my daughter for a mani- pedi. I was so disappointed. We had an appointment at 3 pm on a Saturday and service started 20 minutes later for my daughter and longer for me. Turns water on for my feet soak and it took a while before anything was added to water. It felt like a rush job. Like we were an inconvenience to them. Nail tech kept asking me to relax my hand because he was rushing. Mind you this is not first time I get nails done and never had this problem. I will never go there again. I paid a lot of money for both of us and the experience was terrible. I do not recommend this nail spa.

If I could give 0 stars I would. After having an appointment for 3:15 and not even getting seated for my manicure until 4, I was extremely upset. I even arrived 10 minutes early because I know they get busy. I had another engagement after my appointment and was late to it due to their incompetence to keep appointments. This place has absolutely no regard for your time. I have been coming to Liz Nail Spa for 4 months now (usually I let my gel manicures last longer than they should, so about one manicure a month), and I can say that they have never kept an appointment or have ever been timely in any sense. Not worth the time or money. Find literally any other place to go.

Not really a review.. The last 3 times I stopped in to get services I was told they had a long wait and to just come back. The one time I actually made and appointment I had to wait while they took walk-in people first.
But when i asked for a manicure and pedicure months ago the man who waited on me was visibly angry I did not want a gel manicure. Clearly time to move on...

I have enjoyed my gel mani's the last two time I have gone. They have lasted 4 weeks with no lifting! Great price! Only down side is the wait time.
