Terrible experience! The tech, Rose, rushed my nails! She cut the sides of my nails so they were super thin, basically painted my fingers, and shaped them on a slant. I think the entire appointment took less than 20 minutes. I've been trying to grow my nails out and now I have to start all over. I could have done a better job at home. I've attached a photo of what my nails looked like immediately following the appointment. so disappointed!! Do not go here.

As you can see from the second photo, my nails done at Liz Nails were atrocious! I cried cause they were so bad. I ended up going to Allure beauty on Ridge Road. Johanna fixed my nails up so nice and she did them CORRECTLY. They look so much better than what was on my nails before.

First, everyone at this salon should learn great customer service. I understand this is a job and people have rough days, but time and time again employees have had a short tone with me. My last and final visit was 2 days ago when I brought in a reference photo.

CLEANLINESS: 0/10 I noticed that the tools weren't properly cleaned and the man doing my nails was using HIS DIRTY NAILS to push MY cuticles back. I also noticed that the owner wasn't using the AC so the employees were dripping in sweat! I told him to take a break and wipe his face cause drops of SWEAT were getting on my hands! disgusting.

SKILL&QUALITY: 4/10. I asked for red tapered square acrylics with minimal nail art, which consists of two DEEP french tips and swirl affect on ring fingers. Even if I got no nail art, the nails were poorly shaped, like duck bills. The nail polish wasn't even applied properly, i could see the lines. THE SHAPE WAS WAY TOO WIDE FOR MY FINGERS!!! The acrylic was bumpy. The nail art was so messy and they don't know how to do french tips! they literally paint across your bottom nail with polish and use a brush with nail polish remover to scrape it off. As you can see in the picture, he didn't put a base coat or anything before the nail art was applied. so it was just transparent.

I'm pleased with my pedicure but have 2 concerns:
When I went to put my foot in the water I immediately pulled it out because the water was burning hot. (I love hot water). The person taking care of me went to push my foot back in the water but stopped when I said it was too hot. No apology.
Then she began working on my feet but took a call and spent the entire time on the phone. She spoke in a soft, low voice but it was still annoying and very unprofessional.
I'll be looking for another place to treat myself.

And the tech was shaking straight weirdo why are you doing nails? Never never will go back to your terrible service. Need to be closed down.

I have been going to Liz Nails for a little over a year now for my fingernails and I couldn't be happier. I initially was getting gel manicures before switching to dip polish. My dip polish will last longer than 3 weeks. I have always had outstanding service at Liz Nails. For dip manicures, I highly recommend Lee (at 3). Recently I went to Thao as Lee's hours had changed and I left just as happy. Prices are equivalent to the rest of NEO for dip manicures.

Worst manicure I've ever paid money for. The gel manicure was $35 (typical) and although I really enjoyed chatting with my nail technician, the experience overall was not good.

As I was getting my nails done, I was torn between the fact that I was having really fun and engaging conversations with my nail technician and the rough, sometimes painful manicure that I was being given. She was cutting off way too much 'dead skin' which left my fingers sore for days afterwards. The nail technician was not wearing gloves (hello, covid) and had dirty fingernails. When the manicure was done, my nail polish was super thick and bumpy. Within an hour of getting it done, two big chunks had completely broken off. Within a week, almost every nail was chipping because the big chunks were coming off.

I'll definitely never return.

I am not one to leave reviews bc I can deal with a lot, but I had a terrible experience here. My nail technician did a very rushed and messy job, my nails were clumpy, uneven, and already denting by the time I left bc the dip was applied so thick. I asked him while he was doing them, to please fix them and file them and he didn't, And I had to ask three separate times. Whatever, I know people make mistakes but he was clearly rushing and not paying attention at all. Meanwhile the owner was sitting next to us at his station, and he proceeded to tell me (not ask me, tell me) to pay before my nails were even done. I asked him why and he got very rude with me and said, "I said we are checking you out now." Without much of a choice I took out my card and tipped generously because at this point my nail tech had not finished so I thought maybe they would end up ok. Both the nail tech and owner were so rude and careless, but most of all, so pushy to get me to pay. They also didn't apologize once for the nails being a disaster. Side note, this place is insanely expensive with a dip manicure costing $70 dollars and the tech didn't even do my cuticles or the actual manicure part. I called once I got home to see if I could get a voucher or some sort of compensation considering I verbalized my issue several times in person, and they said the only thing they'll do is re-do my nails, which isn't great because I have someone at a different place I normally go to but she was sick. He was rude on the phone as well and overall this was the worst nail salon experience I've ever encountered and again, I'm extremely laid back and have been getting my nails done for a decade. Don't come here, they do not do a good job and they're rude, pushy, and make you pay before the service is even complete to ensure a higher tip, I'm guessing. save your money!

My daughter and went for pedicures, my feet honestly were awful. They made them look so fantastic I was so happy by the time she finished!!! Best believe I'm coming back!!! AWESOME JOB GUYS THANKS!!!!!!

I had Tony and he did such a good job! He took extra time to make sure my nails were perfect and you could tell he genuinely cared how my nails looked :)
