Customer service and flexibility is the key to a business staying relative to the community it serves. This business doesn't have any flexibility.
Poor business decision by the owners to not be customer service centric.

We are sorry you are not happy with our return policy. A copy of our return policy is in a pink 8x10 frame at the check-out counter and is also posted on our online store. As mentioned when you were in our store on 12-28-2017, had our pink tags still been attached to the scarf and top and a sales or gift receipt been produced, we would have been happy to provide a return or exchange. Without either, we have no way of knowing if the items are from our boutique, as in the case of the scarf or if the items have been worn. We explained that if you can produce the tags and receipt, we would be happy to remedy the situation. The gift giver Karen also contacted us stating that she did not take the tags off. When I asked her to guess when she might have purchased the items in question, so we could review our surveillance tapes in the store to see if the items were purchased here and/or if the tags were removed by an employee, she did not contact us back. I want to add I did respond immediately to your review on FB back in December, which by the way had nothing under a 5 star review, (27 at that time to be exact), I think that speaks volumes and I had no idea till today you left a negative comment here as well.
