Price $45 for a haircut. Always make sure to stop here before every special occasion.

Went in for a beard trim. Nancy did a quality job, and took care in her work. The problem was that it was exactly what I asked her not to do.

I specifically said I didn't want to lower my cheek line because my cheeks grow in patchy. I showed two photos of what I wanted. She asked if I wanted to make them even, because one was slightly lower. "Okay, let's make them even but I don't want to lower the cheek lines."

When I put my glasses back on, my cheeks were completely shaved. I figured I would roll with it, maybe try a new look, but I'm just annoyed every time I look in the mirror. It's going to take me 2 months to grow those back in.

Also, it's not indicated anywhere in advance that they only take cash. Paid $3 to use their ATM, and was lucky I brought my cards to the appointment. This really should be clear on the website, not on a tiny sign on the door.

The barber and stylist Nancy Pacheco is fantastic. My nephew is disabled. Nancy was patient, kind and listened to the needs of my nephew. She did a wonderful job washing his hair, cutting his hair, and shaving his mustache and beard, finishing with a hot towel wrap. I can not say enough about her skills as a barber and as a gracious person. Many blessings to you Nancy

Nancy is the best! We were so glad to find her a few years back when she started her shop in the Rancho shopping center. I am style challenged, but I know that Nancy will make my hair look great even if I can't specify the details.

I don't really want to make this place famous because it's usually so easy to get a great haircut here but then definitely deserve a great review. Betty gives a great haircut everytime and their prices are very reasonable unlike other spots in the bay that charge $50 not including tip for a fade.

Great place to get a haircut in the area and a bunch of us in the family go there. They can handle interesting requests (my son just got a mohawk today) and execute them well.

The only interesting pro/con I can mention is that they take their time to get the haircut right. This can mean more time than they might have allocated you and can cut (no pun intended) into the next appointment by a few minutes. Been on both sides of it and I have to say that it is the right tradeoff to make and I really appreciate them not rushing through things.

I got a haircut and had my beard trimmed by Nancy. I am extremely pleased with the result, and I will now go to Los Altos Barber Shop whenever I need a haircut.

this place and the proprietors are probably too cool for Los Altos, but Nancy gives a great haircut. My long-time hair stylist moved from a location by my office to San Jose (closer to her home). I was desperate to find someone new. I knew this location was really was more of a barber shop than a salon historically, but I walked by. I was kind of surprised I couldn't get in right away, but made an appointment for the next day. On par with my more expensive stylist at ~60% of the price. I think I found my new regular spot!

Nancy is the best. She cuts my 10 years old twin boys hair and it always perfect. She makes sure to listen to what they want and she never rushes. Really appreciate and she very friendly.
We always come back.

Out of the way but well worth it. Nancy did a wonderful job on me. Gave me a trim and helped with my Mohawk. Shen then tackled my beard. She shortened it and added her touches to give it a change. Well done Nancy. When I'm in town I will always come to see you!!!!
