Have been going for a few years now, and just started coming more frequently. 100% VEGAN, SUPER AFFORDABLE and very TRANQUIL ENVIRONMENT. A few favorite picks: #1 VEGAN & GLUTEN-FREE PHO with rice noodles and veggie broth (finally) #2 MOZZARELLA STICKS (perfect crisp outside and melted vegan cheese inside) and #3 STIR-FRY (very hearty and filling).
The servers are super helpful if you need help on deciding!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Heather R.Alexandria, VA05445Apr 14, 2024
Reliably wonderful vegan food - a national chain, fyi. We usually dine in but sometimes get takeout.
This location has a fairly clean dining room, but it seems mostly utilitarian.
Meanwhile, the menu is overwhelming. You can have vegan versions of Chinese takeout classics like Sweet & Sour, or vegan American classics like a chicken sandwich with fries.
Personally I recommend the noodle soups, which are giant portions and wonderful broth. Add some sriracha sauce for extra spice!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 9, 2024
This is a nice change of pace for me for someone who doesn't venture out to vegetarian only places much. This visit was from back when I went in August so I don't know if anything changed back then.
Walking inside, there's a counter with baked goods and a place to pick up if you are ordering for carry out and a section on the right side for people that are dining in. I wanted to sit down to see what my experience was like.
I had a waiter come up to me to get my order in and within a few minutes later I had my appetizer come out. I got Cha Gio or Golden Rolls as they call here. They came in two pieces with sweet and sour sauce. I could definitely taste carrots, cabage, taro, onions, mushrooms, mung bean, tofu for sure in here. It was a delightful taste and I didn't feel like it was anything different from the other places where I got vegetarian egg rolls.
The main entree I got was drunken noodles which was just stir fried flat noodles with soy protein, bean sprouts, chives, bok choy, onions topped with sauce. For the portion you are getting, this was a lot. I think it wasn't spicy at all and perhaps I could have asked if there was an option to make it spicy but not an issue. The dish was filling and honestly just impressive on how vegetarian food can emulate meat in so many ways. I think there were moments when I was eating that I take a bite out of the soy protein and I'm just thinking; " it's really close to the actual thing! ".
I haven't tried anything else but I think I'd come back to try out more options. Try this place out if you like vegetarian food!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John F.Falls Church, VA204209913743Jan 4, 2024Updated review

Yes, I am back after I said I wouldn't return here. I still wouldn't if not for my wife. Dropping the food my food on the dirty floor and trying to serve me the same food on a different plant still leaves a bad impression on me.
Nevertheless, I am here trying their Fried Wontons. It comes on a plate with five hot and crispy wontons. The wonton had some flavor to it, but I did not get a second helping.
I brought my own cup with ice, because I don't trust this place. The ambience here could be considered calm, but not by me.
The service wasn't bad, but the wasn't any parting farewell. The woman took our payments then turn her back on us.
My wife still likes this place, but I do not. If I do come back here, you can bet your ass it's because of my wife.Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 1May 16, 2022Previous review5/14/22
Likening Hut? No.
Wanting Hut No.
Loving Hut? Hell No.
This is the place my wife loves to go to, but I dislike it more and more each time I have to go. Today was the final time I go here.
The place did not have that warm feeling it use to have. The manager on duty looked bored and uninterested in anyone except the football/soccer game on his SmartPhone. The professional look of the manager was less than the staff members.
Ordering food was a bit repetitive, but the server was trying. The English Language isn't easy, so thumbs up for trying. However, orders placed were forgotten, but the real nail in the coffin will come in a moment.
Our food arrived, but one of my orders fell on the floor. The female sever dropped two spring rolls on the floor and picked the up. She then headed back towards the kitchen. Another woman tried to clean up the mess with news papers and failed miserably. The food reminded on the floor during the whole time we were there. A customer even slipped on the food walking to the bathroom.
The sever who dropped my spring rolls came back and delivered new ones...or so I was lead to believe. Picking up one of the spring rolls, I saw and felt the food was lukewarm and cracked up like they had been dropped. Something that was not part of the spring rolls was stuck on the rolls.
Now whether or not this is the case, this was unacceptable to me. The way the manager acted towards my wife and I later on, I wouldn't be surprised if my suspension were correct. New spring were brought out and after inspecting them, they were hot and undamaged.
I have eaten here on week days and on weekends. The week days have been better, but the weekends have just gotten worse.
This place used to be good, but now I feel it has gone the way of Baby Herman's diapers.Aug 29, 2021Previous review8/29/21
I don't like coming here as much as my wife, but today's experience was worth it. It felt good to see a restaurant nearly back to the days before The Coronavirus Outbreak.
Our server's name is Vi and she she did a great job. I also like the Peanuts shirt she was wearing. It showed a picture of Charlie Brown and Snoopy laying next to each other just relaxing.
My wife found out where Vi bought the shirt and she was told Tilly's. A store I have heard of, but maybe visited once.
I might buy the shirt for $22.00. We will have wait and see.
The food was okay and it filled me up. I am just not sure I will be coming back for a 6th time.Aug 8, 2020Previous review8/8/20
The ambience in this place seems to go down everytime we are here since our first experience.
We do our best to be polite, but when we say thank you to almost every server, they do not bother to reply back. Maybe it just most of the male mentality here, but it is starting to annoy me.
I do my best to use the words please and thank you, because it is respectful.
I right now I don't see myself coming back here for a while...with the exception of getting dessert for my wife...
The food is fine, but the attitude is a bit off putting....could it be a culture thing?Jul 20, 2020Previous review7/17/20 and 7/19/20Â
Are the times we have been to this restuarant. Yeah, not to many days apart from the first time we were here.
To those who fo not know, this is a 100% vegan restaurant. If you are a vegan, it is close to the highest level of being healthy as far as not eating meat, milk, cheese or fish. However, goes much deeper than that. This is a way of life much like Rastafari aka Rastafarianism.

In the United States Loving Hut has 15 stores Olin different states. Here is the real kicker though.
Each store has it's own personal menu on vegan items.
When my wife and I came here the first time, it was run by males. Philip was our server. On the second trip, the restaurant was run by all women. I didn't get our servers name, but I will think of her as a Nastia.
The restaurant wasn't very busy when we were there, but it seems we missed the lunch or dinner rush each time. Â
I think both of us have found a new restaurant to go to. The raspberry vegan cheese cake has become my wife's favorite dessert here. The cost of four slices came in at $25.96.  It is $6.49 a slice....I believe for a whole pie would comes to $51.92...if it is eight slices.
I enjoyed looking at the faces on the wall of famous people that are Vegans. I didn't know Bill Clinton or Erykah Badu are vegans. I should have known Mahatma Gandhi was a vegan, but I didn't know.Â
This place is very clean a's n from what I saw and will be one of our favorite restaurants to go to now.

I recommend trying this place at least once. - Ellie S.Rahway, NJ42012Mar 27, 2024
Really friendly service. Ok food. I liked the eggplant tofu dish, but my husbands lemongrass tofu stir fry was tepid and I would not recommend it. Haven't tried anything else on their menu so maybe we just got unlucky with that one.

Delicious Asian-style vegan restaurant chain tucked in a small shopping center next to 711. Get the Lemongrass Tofu!
Skip the Glass Noodles with Mixed Veggies! They were clumpy, oily, and congeal. I prepared better glass noodles at home and I'm not a noodle expert. The thick mixed veggies were sloppily thrown on top of the noodles and not mixed in with the sauce. The veggie ham was quite tasty and the best part of the dish!
While the bbq drummies were tasty, they were smothered in a tangy sweet and sour sauce. I would get sauce on the side next time!
The Lemongrass Tofu was bursting with flavor! While I enjoyed the lemongrass broth, it was too runny to absorb the rice. I bet the pho with thin stringy vermicelli noodles would be delicious and seems to be the specialty!
I would come back again to try the pho and the Oreo covered cheesecake and sweet treats!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 22, 2023
I'm not vegan, so keep that in mind; I'm just open to trying it in a Vietnamese context. The summer rolls were good (they are hard to screw up). The general tso tofu sported too much breading and needed more sauce. The pho was a disappointment, having a pleasing aroma but a peculiar flavor -- we suspect that while we are used to being able to choose how much hoi sin we get to add, this broth came with some already mixed in, making the soup oddly too sweet.
We would bring a vegan here, no question - there's a good variety of food on the menu - but i don't expect we will rush to come back on our own.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - 907193278Jul 18, 2023
They have the absolute best vegan desserts here of all time! I got the chocolate cake which was amazing! Their pho's are really good too!
The service was prompt and good!
Ambiance: The place is a sit down restaraunt with the option of take out! I have done both before and both were good :) if I was vegan I would come here all the time!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 22, 2023
It's a great spot for Vegans. It's not so great for those who aren't Vegan - it's hard to substitute the real thing for vegan things when the real thing is usually much better.
+ The golden rolls are good. Nothing special, but on the good side.
- The Bun Bo Hue (well, without the Bo since it's the Vegan version), paled compared to the real thing. The seitan in the bowl was meh for the most part, with one type being a bit off-putting. The broth was too simplistic too - tasted like it was made with kitchen water, if you know what I mean.
+ I will say, however, that the tofu dishes are the star here. The lemongrass tofu with mixed veggies was the best thing I had out of the three, and by far.
I like that there is a market in this restaurant - you can pick up vegan treats (sweets like cookies, cakes, etc) and ingredients to prepare vegan dishes at home. A vegan mini-market is never a bad thing when there's usually not one in most cities. The market portion of the restaurant might be a bigger draw.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0
