Lucky Locksmith

I called for a key fob to be made as a duplicate since I lost my back-up. I was charged $50 to order a new key fob and was never contacted again. When I reached out 2 weeks later, a guy came to my home to make my new key. He coded it to my car and charged me $150. The next day the key fob completely stopped working. I have reached out multiple times in the past week & a half and 2 appts were made and no one showed. I still have a useless key fob.

I locked my keys in my house so I called around midnight to see if anyone could come. 15 minutes later I got a call saying they would be there in 30 minutes. Then 20 minutes later they called and said no one could come. They called me again and showed up around 730 am. Told me it was $30 for the call, $25 for emergency service and $300 if they could get in my house. After they tried for an hour they couldn't get in. He then said he still had to charge me the $300 even though he couldn't get in. He said that this had never happened before. I said that he had told me I wouldn't be charged If he couldn't get in. In order to get him to leave I ended ip paying $355 and was still locked out!

AWFUL. This is a locksmith REFERRAL service only. DO NOT believe in the 24 hour service advertisement. Sure they may pick up the phone 24x7, but they can't get you a referral service you need when you desperately need it around midnight. Rather, they will waste your time and after 40 minutes tell you they can't find anyone until the next day.

My daughter locked her phone and car key in the trunk of her car. Lucky Locksmith sent a "technician" who tried to get in through the backseat even though she clearly said that the latch was broken and she called a Locksmith because she needed a key for the trunk. He spent 15 minutes messing around in her car. Turns out, this "technician" had no tools--no way to unlock anything. He called someone else to come with the tools needed. This was night time. I had called from another state to get the locksmith and I was not pleased that they sent someone who was as not the professional the company promised--someone who had not been properly vetted. The only lucky thing is that my daughter is safe. $250!! Two hours of waiting.

I had an appt with Honda dealership for $250. Lucky Locksmith promised me they could do it for $160, even when I told them the dealership and hardware store quoted me $250. Their tech shows up and tells me my key fob will cost $250 plus credit card fee (I was never told there was a cc fee when I asked if they took cc on phone). Then the tech couldn't even make the fob and still asked me for $30 for a service call
