Came here on a Sunday and it was very busy so we had to wait about 15min. No biggie though!

I would rate the bathrooms an 7/10. They were clean, dimly lit (which I appreciate in a bathroom) and 2 stalls in the ladies bathroom. 2 stalls was enough for the size of the restaurant. TP and soap were stocked up. They even had a little funny sign about not flushing feminine products. I bet you could use the restroom if you weren't a paying customer because they wouldn't really know. Especially when people stand outside waiting to be seated.

Chicken fried chicken with chorizo gravy was excellent! The chicken was freshly battered in house and still hot when it came to the table. The Mac n cheese and homestyle potatoes were not tasty so skip those. But the rolls were soft and delightful. My friend got the BLT and she always orders that so I know that is good here.

We took a day trip to Celina, Texas, desperately needing a little R&R. Our adventure led us to "Lucys on the Square." We were so lucky to find this lovely restaurant.

It's located inside a tiny downtown area that supports the Celina Courthouse. It's so easy to park and walk. Bonus: There's a generous amount of handicap parking.

If you love that quaint hometown feeling (you only see in movies) .. you'll find it here!!

The restraunt was cozy, nostalgic, laid back, and full of Christmas spirit. It's a family owned business (my favorite!), and their vibe was comfort food, including homemade pies.

Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which led to us eating wayyyy more than we should have, lol.

We all ordered a variety of traditional breakfast items like eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, as well as biscuits with gravy. Fresh food, made to order, cooked perfectly - delicious!!!

TIP: Well worth the trip if you live anywhere within driving distance. Just outside the door, we enjoyed taking pictures with a beautiful Christmas tree and holiday decorations provided by Celina. Families were gathered to enjoy this space, pets are welcomed, and kiosk interactive games are provided (free) for children.

We will certainly go back. Meanwhile, I wanted to give them a well-deserved FIVE STAR review.

I wouldn't return. The service was incredibly slow and there wasn't a feeling of warmth at this establishment but rather an eerie, unwelcoming feeling.

The food was also subpar- lacking flavor. Though the chicken and waffles were decent.

Was good when they started. We were there when they first opened the owner was friendly and the food was good, but after 2 years the owner didn't smile and greet customers and the food quality went downhill noticeably.

      Amazing people and amazing food.

App: we got the fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms! Both were VERY good. Only suggestion would be to have mozzarella or another sauce with the friend tomatoes vs ranch.

My chicken friend steak and fries were very very good!

We for sure will be back

The food is amazing, atmosphere is cozy and nice. Our wait person, Marley had an infectious smile and seemed to know what we needed before we asked for it. Great food, great atmosphere great service! We will be back and recommend to all our friends.

this place is pretty good for brunch/ lunch. I wish I would have taken pictures of the salad but it was very fresh and the chicken was juicy with lots of flavor. my husband got the chicken fried steak. he loved it! our favorite were the green beans they were very fresh with red peppers and bits of bacon. our daughter loved the mac and cheese. the prices are 2-3 more than the menu pictures featured. Our server was excellent they did put croutons in my salad although I told them no croutons.

Down home comfort food restaurant. Staff is very friendly. Plenty of options to pick from the menu. Portions are very hearty. A staple on the Celina Square.

Went for brunch on Saturday morning. My friend had the Sunrise Croissant and I had the Late Breakfast. Hash browns came with both and both barely hit the griddle and were blond. I substituted a biscuit for the toast and wished I hadn't. The biscuit seemed like it might have been fresh last week and would have been pitiful then. It was not even warm enough to melt butter. We also ordered a pie each to go. Got home and the coconut/pecan pie was dry. (I know. Unbelievable). My chocolate cream pie supposedly came with a graham cracker crust which was liquid. (Again I know. Unbelievable). So I can't recommend the pies.

      The liquid graham cracker crust.

Enjoyed dinner, hadn't been here in several years. Chicken fried steak was terrific, mash potatoes yummy and green beans were tasty. Beans were warm while the rest of the meal was quite hot, loved it. Big portions. They have Coke Zero, better than Diet Coke. Great atmosphere and such a nice drive getting there.
