Horrible. The tech with whom I had the appt was running 1/2 hr late so they put me with someone else who over-filed my nails down to nothing. He didn't remove all the polish, left my nails a mess and they charged me $15. Creative Nails is so much better.
I did not change the appointment. I intended to have a dip put back on. I gave no attitude. I showed him the shape I was hoping for the after three additional requests for his filing and no changes I did not have confidence in the tech or the salon to finish the manicure. Hi Mimi, we had unexpected situation that your nail tech runs a bit late. We asked you and you agree to have another tech worked on your nail this time. You change the appointment from dipping to taking off. While we work on your nail, you give the tech attitude and refuse to have him filed the nails or taken off the color. You washed hand and walked out. There’s no reason that our tech would leave color on the nail like that and allow you to walk out. You can only walk out with color on nails if you refuse to have the service done. We review the CCTV and get all information from our tech before replying. If you have any questions or different information. Please reach out to us.
With the updated review, we still don’t understand what the problem comes from since you stated that we didn’t remove the polish and left your nail a mess, and you said you didn’t change the request and not wanting the tech to finish since you have confidence. Based on the photo, We even didn’t had a chance to take off the polish and you walked out before we started anything.

I refuse to go to any other nail salon! I drive from Boston to this location. Howie is my go-to and always does an AMAZING job. From hospitality, to nail shape and design- he is hands down the best nail technician in the central mass area in my opinion.
I had booked a last minute appointment today and noticed Howie was booked (he usually is booked 2/3 weeks in advance) so I booked with Vivian and to no surprise, she is just as talented. DO NOT GO HERE! worst experience and horrible customer service, the nail tech, Vanka which I had been going to for a year and was happy with messed up my nails today big time. I understand as we all do sometimes this can happen and it's a matter of how the nail salon handles it - they were not professional at all. In fact, the woman who works behind the front desk should be fired for how poorly she handled the situation.
Vanka was doing chrome overlay with dip, and had blue powder left over from her previous customer in her brush that rubbed off on my nails. i didn't understand why she didn't address it immediately and clean off the blue powder instead she kept on doing my nails after I pointed it out to her! So my entire right hand had a blue tint with white chrome overlay while my other hand did not.
The woman or "manager" behind the desk walked over because I told Vanka I was not happy and could clearly see the difference between my two hands. Instead of the manager helping to figure out a solution - she was GASLIGHTING ME! Like oh there is nothing wrong.
Vanka tried to fix it and then they were saying rude things about me back and forth so I couldn't understand.
Vanka tried to bandaid it but we all know you can't hide BLUE when you're trying to do white see through chrome on top.
I told Vanka please just take off the chrome and put regular pink polish over the dip so it could hide the blue - I was late picking up my daughter from daycare! This was supposed to be a relaxing Friday and it turned into a fiasco!
The manager walks over and literally starts yelling at me in front of everyone, kicking me out of the salon like it's my fault! I was so insulted and embarrassed- how is this woman employed to work with customers?! I am in the customer business myself and you NEVER treat a customer like she did.
My nails were not finished and would break if I did not have dip powder. I got up and left and was disgusted the lack of respect and poor treatment. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND TELL EVERYONE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE.
I ended go elsewhere to finish the job.

Hi Ani, The chrome you choose is mermaid chrome which have blue tint in it. Vanka first tested and you're ok. After that, you want to remove all chrome, and even remove the dipping on your nails even though that is already finished.
Vanka she can do gel color layover on your dip, but you also said no. The front desk offered you to come at later time if you want to redo the dip since Vanka had another customer waiting, and you still say no. You mentioned that you were late for the daycare to pick up your children, but you want to stay and remove all the dips (which has nothing wrong) and redo the whole dip. We are unsure what do you want. All the staffs really patiently tried to fix the situation until your request becomes unreasonable.
Every time you come, we specially reserve at least 2:30 hours just for you service instead of 1:30 for the service that you booked. And it is every time, not just sometimes like you said. We know that we have to spend extra time on your service because you are not easy to please, and we're willing to do that. Vanka is really patient and trying her best to accommodate your request. Unfortunately this time even you don’t know what you want to get. We did offer you to come back another time so we can finish but you refuse and keep insisting to get it done now even though Vanka has another customer waiting. Your request becomes really unreasonable for everyone to accommodate. Then you left the salon without paying for the service pedicure and manicure that you had. We’re sorry that the staff may not treat you the way you like, but we did try all the best to accomplish your request. We could confirm that the front desk was really professional with you, but you was yelling at her and threaten to give a bad review. This is based on CCTV that we review.
Unfortunately we are unable to take you moving forward. Hopefully you can find another salon that meet your expectation and willing to spend more than 2 hours for just a basic service. Peace. - Amy G.MA, MA01Nov 29, 2023
Horrible customer service. Don't treat regular, generous customers with respect.
I've been a regular customer for quite some time now, completely understand that they have a cancellation policy and why it's in place. I've never canceled an appointment last minute or abused this policy. On 11/16 I had gotten into a bad car accident - I hit a deer with my car. My car was totaled. I had an appointment for a mani on 11/17. Called in the morning as soon as I could to let them know I couldn't come in due to the circumstances (I had no car, I was beat up from the car accident the night before). Trust me, if I could have gone to the nail salon to pamper myself, I would have. I spoke on the phone with Uvie (sorry, I'm likely spelling her name incorrectly) who had no sympathy for the state I was in and told me she was going to charge my card $48 for the cancelation. I understand rules and policies, however this was extenuating circumstances and I physically could not get there. Told me she could reschedule my appointment instead (again, I had no idea when I would have a drivable car at this point and no way to get to the salon that's almost 30 minutes from where I live). When I pressed that this is an extreme case she said she would talk to her boss and call me back, while hanging up. When she called back, the best she could offer was a $24 voucher that I would have to pay for to use at a future service (this is after I told her that if she charges my card I'm no longer going to be a customer at the salon). I openly told her that the solution didn't work for me, I'd also be leaving a review to warn others of the terrible customer service and lack of sympathy for good customers. I was met with sarcasm and condescension "do you understand the words I'm saying?"
I always show up to my appointments and on time, tip at 30% at every appointment, and don't ever cause a fuss even when taken late. As a small business owner myself, this lack of sympathy and humanism was really shocking and disgusting.
I have a big wedding coming up and was hoping to use the salon as a place for guests and bridal party to get their nails done, but I wouldn't send my family and friends there.
Minh is a great nail tech and I always thought he did a wonderful job! It's too bad he lost a regular customer.
I went to a new nail salon the other day and they were very welcoming, explained the situation I had with Mademoiselle and they were horrified - they even provided me a $5 gift certificate for my next service.
I will never be back to Mademoiselle.
Update based on manager's note below: I was never issued a gift card, just charged $24. $48 was what I was originally told will be charged to me for canceling before UV spoke to the manager and communicated $24. As a regular customer, we value that you understand our policy. As for the cancellation fee, the only way that we can return to you is that it has to be issued under gift card. Please note that we did explain you can use the gift card at anytime on your next appointment. Your cancellation fee was $24 (it was never $48), and we issue the gift card immediately for you. As UV explained to you that she must run this through manager who has authority to issue credit back to customer As a regular customer, we are unsure the reason the gift card is not an option or not working for you?.
We’re sorry that the store credit does not work for you even though we issue 100% credit back to you, and we hope you all the best with your health, speedy recovery.

Had an appointment 2 weeks ago with Vanka for a mani/pedi. The pedi was fine (looked neat, not the best pedi I've gotten but not bad by any means). The gel manicure I received however would prevent me from coming back. Maybe I needed to schedule with someone else (anyone recommended was booked out well in advance) but I don't understand the 5 star reviews here. The manicure itself was not neat (gel polish on my cuticles) and she was extremely rough while working on my cuticles. See photo - you can see both how dry and rough my nails looked after, as well as the polish on some of the cuticles. For the price, I at least expect the nails to be cleaned up better. Full disclosure though, I did not mention anything when it was done (gel isn't easy to remove and I did not have time to sit around longer for them to be fixed - they had already started 30 minutes later than my reservation which I was fine with but couldn't sit around any longer). They probably would have fixed them had I brought it up, but I don't feel like I should have to get my nails redone. They should look good on the first try. One of the nails chipped 24 hours later before I left for vacation (which shouldn't happen with gel polish). By the end of my 10 day vacation, most of them were chipped and peeling off, which I expected would happen due to being in the water a lot.
I also felt the mani station itself was not clean. There was white dust and sparkles all around. I don't expect it to be spotless, but do expect them to at least wipe down the area before moving onto the next person.

I have been going to this nail salon for a couple years and it is the best in the area. It is very clean and always welcoming. Both Vivian and Vanka have done my pedicures and manicures and the results have been excellent. Scheduling is simple online and they are generally right on time.

Very disappointed. The nail tech cut my daughters skin and her finger started to bleed. While I was getting my nails done I was burned on the tip of my finger by gel uv light. Also there was no plexiglass at the nail station I was at. I called the next day to let them know what happened. All I got were lame excuses. I was told I was welcome to come back. Of course I could go back butUmmm no thanks. I don't like paying for services and getting hurt in the process. Will not go back
Edit to add: you never said anything about the gel burning. Nice try with saying you told us. My daughter got dipping powder.
As far as the plexiglass, not safe during Covid.

Hello, we did explain to you that our plexiglass was broken at that time, we we were going to replace it. Unfortunately the plexiglass was broken at a sensitive time like this. We also let you know that the gel machine may cause a burning sensation due to the nature of the gel product. We did try our best, yet it does not meet your expectation. Hope you find a favorite place to stick with. Peace!

I wanted to update my review. A few weeks ago I went in and had my nails done. A few days later I noticed that the nail polish (gel) started to weirdly fade. I went in and spoke with the manager and she was awesome. It's clear it was a polish issue and she quickly offered a polish change. I couldn't make the time in the moment and honestly i didnt want to gel my nails within days. She came up with a solution and I was able to apply the gel change in my most recent visit. So nice accommodating and client centered! Thank you!!!!

I moved here about a year ago and have tried over 6 different nail salons and this one is the most consistent. Clean, welcoming, and efficient. It can be more on the expensive side but I'll pay a little more for the quality and care I get here. Nails are always done well and the service is really strong. The people who work here are really kind and attentive.
