The Owner and Staff must be from out-of-town!!!
I hate to think that these people are my neighbors in what is otherwise a quaint and friendly town, so I'm going to assume they are not locals. I've used their mailing services numerous times over the past 12 years and have rarely had anything other than an average experience, but it's the only business of this type in town, so I just grit my teeth when I go there (or send the wife, lol). My last few visits there were actually more pleasant, but then I had an experience that caused me to write this review and look for any place other than this to do business with. If you like gory details, here goes...
There's a drop box for UPS and Fedex, but I had two packages that would not fit, so I waited in the drive thru lane. The customer ahead of me seemed to have an awful lot to discuss with the staff member, so I waited patiently for several minutes before I remembered that on my last positive experience visit, a different staff member told me just to set my package by the door, so I placed both boxes by the door where today's staff member was going in and out. I expected her to say, "Thank you, I'll take them in when I finish with this customer", but instead I got an abrupt, "I'm with a customer". That was pretty obvious, but since she didn't acknowledge my packages, I returned to my truck and waited what ended up being over 15 minutes.
When she finished with the customer ahead of me, I pulled up and she greeted me with, "I'm going to ask you never to put your packages there again." Then she told me about an unmarked door around back where I could have put my packages and been on my way 15 minutes ago. Why had I never heard of this door before? Where is the sign indicating such a door? And why could she not have just taken the same time it took her to state the obvious "I'm with a customer" to say "Could you please set your packages inside the mystery door?".
I decided to go inside and try to address this with the owner, but the owner greeted me with, "I'm the owner and I heard everything that went on!" Given the tone of her voice I could tell that it was pointless to discuss the matter any further, but at least I learned that the problem with customer service there begins at the top!
If you need Fedex or UPS services, I highly encourage you to do a quick search first. There are several drop locations in town now and one even offers some packing assistance with a much better attitude!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mary V.Manville, NJ79May 20, 2019
Do NOT deal with this business. We rented a box for six months at a cost of $59. A month later circumstances changed and we needed to move out of the area (about 1300 miles away) and closed out the box. The clerk at the business told us we had to forward via USPS, which we did. USPS denied the forward request because it's against USPS policy to forward mail from a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA). When informed of this, Nina said Mail Fast Forward is not USPS and does NOT abide by USPS rules and policies. She would do NOTHING to help.
Although we paid Mail Fast Forward $59 and received NO REFUND other than our $5 key deposit, they are simply REFUSING to forward our mail. No debate, no exceptions, not their problem. Complete lack of customer care. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone.
UPS stores forward mail for box customers ALL THE TIME. Mail Fast Forward's rates are no less than UPS rates. You would be MUCH better off using UPS, if only for the much better customer service and care.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Johnnie j.Leon Valley, TX01Dec 13, 2018First to Review
I tried to deliver a package of legal mushrooms and asked them to tape the box for me. I paid for shipping cost and thought everything was good but Mail Fast Forward called the police and had my package confiscated by the police . When I went into the place of business on 313 Telly Rd. The lady behind the counter was very harsh with me and wouldn't even consider talking to me about a refund on my 6 dollars and 50 cents much less the 400 dollars worth of mushrooms I was trying to ship. She said that she had left my package sitting with the box open for all to see and the police came in and saw this but I say BS , my package should have been sealed before I left the building . These people are very unprofessional . I have been using them for 4 years but no longer will I trust them to handle my mail .
