This is very solid, traditional Mexican food. They don't skimp on the cheese for the nachos as well! I loved the extra detail that was placed on the artwork. They didn't do the basics like you see so often. There is depth and vibrancy to the art. It really stood out as something special. More than anything else though, the service was supreme. We love it here!!

Malecon's is The Best Mexican food in Grants Pass, OR. We just ate there tonight and the flavor and tenderness of the shredded beef was the best I had ever had.
My husband had the #12 combo and he said it was awesome. I would recommend Malecon to anyone.

The Malecon is under new ownership. Upgrades made to the interior design are beautiful. Unfortunately, the warmth of the service is missing, prices have increased and the quality of the food has been cheapened. The beef has a lot of gristle, the pork has a lot of fat, and the salsa is tasteless. I ordered a wet burrito and it came with lettuce and tomato inside it and very little of any other fill. The owner is stingy with her meals. Having grown up on Mexican food, having lived in Mexico and traveled there all of my 70 years of life, I think this restaurant is an insult to anyone who eats there. Don't waste your money.

Sooo happy we found a delicious Mexican restaurant in town! Everything we had was so yummy. Quick service, and great quality! Definitely will be back again!

Delicious homemade food, recipes passed on thru family generations! Friendly service, amazing food ! The best salsa verde I have ever tasted - a must try if you live in Grants Pass or looking to stop for a bite.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon with two little kids. Not very busy and we got our food so quickly. Husband got the mole enchiladas and said it was one of the best he's had. What a cute place, we'll definitely be back.
