They came out to rekey an 05 saab q7x because keys were misplaced
He was very friendly and informative the key had an issue coming back out after he rekyed and car had a hard time with the key he had to make a few adjustments finally got it working but you had to wiggle it a bit to get it to work he said it was just because it was a new key but it will be fine the following day I went to move the car key got stuck in the ignition and wouldn't go into drive I messaged him with no response for over a week then he finally got back to me after a number of tex messages he gave me instructions on how to remove the key myself I tried what he said it didn't work then he sends me a picture of a new ignition as this would help then didn't here from him for 2 weeks in this time key is still stuck in the ignition and still will not go in drive so I had it towed to a dealership in this time I found the original key dealership cost $300 to remove the key in witch they told me the key damaged the tumbler this is why the car wouldn't go into drive or come back out and now will not go back in and the original key will not go in it either I messaged the owner of ma's key told him what was going on and his response was pure crazy mind you I never asked him to fix the car I understand things happen I only asked for a refund for the key that damaged my ignition and this was his response........
That was not the problem. That marks are a symptom of the underlying problem.
In your opinion and that of the mechanic/repair shop/ dealership I am incompetent.
Due to the nature of my business and my status as an Automotive Security Professional. I will not simply refund your money based on something which I am 100% certain is a misdiagnosis/misrepresentation.
I recommend that you take me to court over this. In this manner I can prove my case and then go after the dealership for negatively affecting my business.
I really do not take it lightly when I am falsely accused.
This was an uncalled for response
I am contacting the Better Business Bureau getting everything in writing and will be seeing him in court for the full repair of the car
I definitely do not recommend this business or his servicesHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shane G.Portsmouth, VA01Jan 14, 2020
On time, and the price point was VERY reasonable. After being highly recommended by my co-workers, I gave Manny a call and he was able to schedule me that very same day. When another technician showed up, I was a little concerned but make no mistake - This guy knew exactly what he was doing and then some. I had 2 (chipped) keys cut and a remote entry fob at a very reasonable price. Going above and beyond merely 'copying' the existing key, he used other tools to ensure that I received the absolute correct cut for my vehicle. I would highly recommend Manny and his technicians for any other locksmithing needs in the future.

Manny came highly recommended from Little Joe's Auto to help me get a chip/transponder key for my truck which requires a PIN to program the key/chip so my truck will start. Manny assured me several times he could do the job. We agreed on Wednesday July 10th between 4:30 and 5pm. I called him at 5pm and he sounded like he was asleep, I asked if he was still coming and he said yes, I asked what time he said between 6pm and 6:30pm. At 6:45pm I called him and he said he was running behind schedule and he could come the next day at 5:30. So again, I leave work early and get home, I start calling him and he doesn't answer. Between my husband and I we called from our cell phones about 7 times and he never answered. He basically blew me off which is unacceptable an wholly unprofessional. I wound up calling Pop-a-Lock Friday morning 7/12 and the tech kept in constant touch with me, and was able to come that evening and even though the job was involved (had to remove my immobilizer to get the pin) the tech was extremely professional, never complained and after a few hours my truck was running. I told the tech what happened and he said he knew Manny and was surprised he blew me off like that. I'm not saying Manny is not a good locksmith but my experience of him was not a positive one and I would not recommend him. Apparently he is sponsored by corporate companies and maybe my job was too involved and he didn't want to be bothered. If that was a job he didn't want to do, all he had to do was say so and I would have moved on week ago. My advice do your research and ask if it's a job they can or are willing to do.
