Mashu Mashu Kosher Sushi Bar

The poke bowl is absolutely outstanding. I get the custom Poke bowl and it is super delicious and they give you a very generous portion of all the items. The raw salmon is fabulous and fresh. The people who work there are really nice too. I dont kneed to eat kosher but this is the only place I like to go to for my poke. I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend the large poke bowl with salmon.
So many yummy, fresh ingredients: rice, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, scallion,seaweed salad, carrots, avocado, raw salmon, your choice of sauces. My first time, I ordered the sweet teriyaki-like sauce on the side, and I liked it. Next time, I'll try the sriracha sauce. I had the white rice and liked it. I'm happy that they offer the poke bowl with tuna, salmon or a combination of fish, since I plan to order it often.

The raw salmon tasted very fresh, as did all the other ingredients.

How do people even order from here?
Got the pizza slice with tuna and they put tomatoes on top, same color as the tuna, probably got 8 pieces of chopped tuna and the rest was all tomatoes...what a rip off!!

Ordered from here several times and have never been disappointed! Solid choice for sushi. Quick and easy - and good menu with lots of choices.

Just a typical cheap sushi place. The tuna was bright pink and tasted extremely frozen, and the salmon wasn't any better. It actuallt looked like they had to cook some of the fish inside the rolls that was supposed to hlbe raw,probably because of poor quality. The rolls themselves were extremely densely packed and the rice was bland. The tempura was doughy.

With so many other options around the area, I wouldn't even consider this place. One roll tasted like it was canned tuna fish on top. For those that keep kosher, I would reccomed Cedar Market over this place. The quality of fish is better and the rolls are prepared better. They also have the buy two get one roll free so it doesn't come out any more expensive than this place.

Really sub-par sushi...the rice was mushy and overcooked, and the ingredients didn't taste fresh. The tuna roll I ordered had the taste and consistency of caned tuna (it was supposed to be a raw roll). Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Seriously the freshest sushi I have ever had! Owner is the sweetest, nicest guy who really knows how to run the show and most of all treats his customers and workers with respect. The sushi is amazing!!! We always order just for ourselves or for huge parties, personal or business! Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place. I order sushi only from them. He is friendly and caring owner. When I want something done slightly different I ask them to modify. If I want less vegetables or whatever in my sushi I specify so. He's always on time with when he says it will be ready. I find the pricing affordable and the food quality is great too.

Every time I have eaten there I have gotten quality sushi at an inexpensive price. In my opinion it is one of the best sushi places in the area and it's always my go to spot when I'm in Fair Lawn.

Very impressed so far. Ordered a couple standard sushi rolls, delicious. (Only thing I'd improve is the sushi rice - I wish was a little more sticky, a little more tangy.) Glad there's a sushi spot for Fair Lawn's kosher folks. Will be back!
