Incredible, fresh Indian food! We came on Christmas Day and tried the Sweet Potato Chaat, Saag Paneer, and Tikka Masala. Prices are high but this far superior to your average strip mall Indian food. I was blown away by the Sweet Potato Chaat. The tamarind chutney on the sweet potatoes had such an incredible, sweet and fragrantly spiced flavor.

The restaurant is fresh and clean and very intimate. Service is very friendly, if slow, but that was probably because of the holiday. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Still the best fish in Newport Beach. And yeah, I'm still blown away by that. I've lived here all my life and am a fisherman and something of a chef... and this Indian restaurant still has the best piece of fish in Newport. Anyways, this last visit was during the Christmas Walk. What a blast!

The visit to Mayur was a highpoint to a fun day. The chicken tika masala, the tandoori shrimp, and the homemade ice cream... And yes, we got the Chilean seabass again and it was as transcendent as before. You've been warned! Anyways, highly recommend and looking forward to the next visit.

You're going to love this chaat! Sweet potatoes, tamarind, herbs, perfection in every bite. I felt like I time traveled back to New Delhi. Chicken Tika and of course the Palak paneer. The cheese was so fresh and delicious. The server was super friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to go back to CDM to get more. I'm actually starting to get hungry again from writing this review. I don't think there was one grain of rice left when I was done. It's a romantic spot so I'd suggest it for Valentine's Day or a first date. Perfect, quiet spot where you can dine by candlelight. I hope someone invites me to go back.

The food here was excellent for a vegetarian and gluten free lady like me. Rahul was so nice and accommodating. Try the Bartha and aloo gobi, they are amazing.

I ordered this thru a delivery app. I am not a far drive from the restaurant. My raita was fermented (meaning either they used spoiled yogurt or it had sat out in the restaurant too long and got bacteria), the container was about to explode from the gases inside, my shrimp was grey and undercooked. I paid $150 for food that was not edible. I am very upset. Now I have to get dinner from someplace else.

not only was the food divine but the service was one of the most impeccable in the city of CDM. Rahul, our server was hilarious and kind, offering us not only jokes and companionship littered throughout our meal but such attentive service. the chicken tikka, naan, daal makhani were all mouthwatering, splendid, and delicious. mayur was very affordable for the rich quality of food and if not for the food, the service was beyond worth it.

Love this place! The food is always fantastic and the service/ employees are even better. Rahul and Manu are awesome. Highly recommend!
