Absolute crap! conman is an underrated description of Daniel. He came in Nov and took $400 down to order parts for my washer dryer. after many texts and calls, he never showed up. Then he said he already spent the money on the parts and couldn't return the money until after he returned the parts. then he said a family member died.. in Jan.. then someone stole his money...then in April he said he's in the middle of moving...one excuse after another.
Better if he just moves off island and stops ripping people off!!

Home warranty sent him out... took a few tries to get him here to look at stove. He did fix the burner while here but stated had to order part for hinges( understandable). He did not f/u w/ company( know this because they called us).
Ended up my husband ordered hinge kit and no issues...

Daniel came to check out our dryer and said if we replace the whole control board part ,it will be good.So 350 I gave him.Then shows up puts part in and said it was 70.00 more...To top it off he left and the dryer did the same thing as my old part..So for months can find him, been asking him to refund me and put old part back .He finally said he cant bit he can fix whatever and make it right.Mind you, im down 420 and didn't need that part, i assume.. Not so pono this happened in December 16,2022 it's now March 22,2023 still no show.

I first contacted Daniel June 28 and he showed up the next day. He diagnosed my refrigerator as having a broken defrost element and switch. He defrosted the unit and promised to return with the parts needed. I was charged $200 for him to show up and take a hair dryer to the freezer. The unit was defrosted and he cleaned up nicely. About a week passed and he was still looking for parts in his storage or his partners truck. I was told he was swamped but would return July 8. No show no call no text. I thawed out the freezer myself. July 12 I asked to be put back on the schedule. July 13 Daniel texted me saying he had been ill and offered a $100 refund because of never returning or making the repairs. July 15 I decided to purchase a new refrigerator as manually defrosting mine was causing headaches. Daniel offered to purchase my refrigerator so when the new one was delivered I didn't have them pick up the old one. August 9 after a couple texts affirming he was still interested in my fridge I was told his van had been stolen but he would rent a truck. My refrigerator would soon be gone. November 4 I was told he still wanted it and would pick it up. If you like a guy who has a long and steady line of excuses, never shows up and overcharges for service you have found the guy. Look no further. Call Daniel if you need to be aggravated and disappointed. I think there is a simple rule in business. Say what you will do and then actually show up and do it. That is what men do. They say what they mean and mean what they. No need for excuses just do what you promise.

Dan was GREAT! Fair, reasonable, and timely. He communicated what he was doing and made recommendations within the scope of the work order. Will DEFINITELY call him again with any appliance, electrical, or plumbing needs!

It was disappointing to learn just how unethical Daniel is.
He was hired by LG to respond to a warranty issue with my refer back in September 2018. His diagnosis was to replace the evaporator and compressor. LG accepted this and provided him with parts and payment to perform the work.
Surprise #1 - Daniel then tells me he's not qualified to work on pressurized systems. But he'll subcontract it to someone who is.
After several months of minimal contact and no action, he makes it clear he's having trouble finding anyone to perform the work, and that the funds provided may be inadequate. I offer him a win-win situation: give me the parts and the money provided by LG, and I'll hire a reputable local company myself and pay whatever extra is required out of my pocket. He agrees and drops off the parts at my house within a few days.
Surprise #2 - That was some 3 months ago, and despite constant requests for the money, with nothing but excuses in return, it's clear to me that Daniel spent it long ago and has no intention of making this right. Which is even more surprising given that he also supports himself as a practitioner of Hawaiian healing here on Maui.

At first Daniel was responsive and helpful. He ordered a part for me from LG for my broken fridge; then I called Daniel to get a status report and he said he received the part and just needed to schedule his technician. That was the last communication I ever had. I called and left voicemails, I texted him and just finally stopped since he never replied. Very unprofessional. So basically he got a free compressor from LG but never installed it in my broken fridge, leaving me high and dry. I'll never use them again.

Unfortunately, Daniel Fowler is NOT good at follow up.
He was excellent in fixing my appliances in the past so I called him for my vacation rental where the washer was not functioning properly. He looked at the machine, said it needed a belt and a pulley but didn't have time to fix it then but thought he had the parts in his vehicle.
He said he would get back to me the next day. He did but it was to bill me $100 just for the visit which was not discussed prior to his assessing the problem. I went ahead and sent the $100 and waited, text, and waited, called and left messages and waited. Then he answered...has been so busy but will come on Friday. Great, what time? 1PM great...no show, I texted, no response, I called, he said he was tied up in town but would come by later. NO show...texted him again. Saturday for sure. NO show, I left a "what's happening?" message. He text back, would be here in an hour. NO show! I text back..he then text back saying he "looked into his box" and the parts had not come in. (We are three weeks into this!) I texted, called again as he had done such a good job before and trusted him. Needless to say, he has yet to respond and it's nearly a month. My tenants have been so patient as I have done their laundry at my place while I waited for this repair.
I believe he does a lot of warranty work for Lowes and possibly Home Depot and if I were them I would FIRE HIM. Who ever wrote that 5 star review must have caught him at just the right time. He was suppose to repair or LG refrigerator (through LG service). Took forever to get the parts and then he said his van got stolen with our parts in it and haven't heard from him since!!!!! Wouldn't recommend. Waiting on LG to find someone else

After reading these reviews, I did not want to use this company. I called Samsung and asked for a repair company in Maui and guess what company the scheduled to repair my dryer? McGraty.
My experience is completely different than the online reviews. Not only did Daniel answer the phone, he actually called me a few days earlier than my appointment because he was in the area and could look at the dryer. He fixed it and our refrigerator too. I will call him back the next time an appliance breaks.
I'm not sure if he read the reviews and increased his level of service or whether the people who wrote the reviews are just negative people but I couldn't be happier with how helpful Daniel was.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
