After months of dealing with unreliable contractors and outrageous quotes, I found David who is truly a treasure. I showed him the empty space and told him how I want to use it. He listened, measured, designed, built, and delivered with no hassle. He was responsive, patient and the craftsmanship blew my mind away. He paid attention to every detail - from custom making the perfectly matched crown molding at the bottom of the desk into the wall crown molding (flush and clean) to wire management, convenience features, lighting and any other details you don't think of as a customer until you own the piece. We will be using him again. I absolutely recommend him. You cannot find too many contractors like David.

He didn't hound us for money, but rather asked for a 50% deposit at the onset of the project and not a penny more until the project was completed and we were completely happy. We can't tell you how lucky we feel to have found Dave! We came across the McKay Custom Cabinets website after attempting to go down different routes to furnish our home office and becoming increasingly frustrated with the idea of paying more than we wanted to, but getting less than we needed in terms of storage and functionality. After looking at some of the beautiful projects on the website, we really felt that Dave could be the right person to help us realize our "dream office." He was able to come out to the house quickly. He spent time really listening to our goals for the space, and was able to blend what we wanted/needed with his ideas for the potential he saw. We are in love with our new home office and keep pinching ourselves that we have something this custom and this beautiful in our own home for such a competitive price.
