I've been coming to dr. Chidi for years now. He explains the situation in the level that you can understand and figure out the treatment together.
Also I can see him when I need to. I don't have to wait for days for an appointment. Nurses in the front office are especially nice & friendly.
My only issue is with their billing. The billing company that use is impossible to deal with. Never return your calls and one doesn't know what the other did. They send claims to insurance too late or not at all ... and are too happy to send it to collection agency.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - William E.Norco, CA4113Mar 8, 2023Updated review
Dr Chidi is one of the most caring and empathetic Dr's that I have ever been to. Furthermore, his staff is extremely professional and they truly care about their patients. I have been going to Dr Chidi for so long now that I feel like Medicross is my second family. If you are looking for a skilled Dr that is both kind and professional, look no further.

Most physicians want to get you in and out, but Dr. Chidi is thorough and he does everything he can to make you feel comfortable. I decided to make him my primary physician and I will continue to go to him as long as my insurance permits.

I love love love Dr Chidi and the friendly staff! They know me very well as I sometimes can be a hypochondriac! Dr Chidi knows me very well and knows exactly what issues to help me with. I know he cares for my well-being, and I do thank him from the bottom of my heart for helping me out with all my issues! He is my primary care doctor!

Dr. Chidi has been my Primary Doctor for the last few years. I initially saw him as an urgent care patient and was impressed by his warmth and his caring attitude so I elected him as my PCP. He does take insurance. I have never had a problem getting in to see him quickly and I trust his opinion. I also really like his back and front office staff especially the nice assistant with the Australian accent. (Sorry I forgot her name). I'll be keeping Dr. Chidi as my primary doctor and I like his new location as well.

This is the worst urgent care ever. Besides the ladies at the front desk, they're awesome. I told the dr (if you look at the pictures, the second one-hes the one on the right) that my allergies have gotten really bad and my throat is really dry and it makes me cough when I lay down at night. He asked me if I have gotten the Covid vaccine. And said no I haven't, I'm young and healthy. He said can I test you? So I asked him if he would give me an exact before jumping to Covid. He then began to hound me about it and asked why I'm so fearful of he vaccine. What? Aren't you a dr who's supposed to respect medical privacy!? I let him know my friend is in the hospital because of the vaccine and my aunt died after taking it, so let's just see what this one symptom might be! He told me that I may have exposed him and his nurses to Covid now. He also said that my red throat isn't a symptom of allergies (it is if it makes you cough for three days, like hay fever will do). So he hardly gave me a checkup and prescribed me the meds that the previous dr did and walked away. Which last time I had these symptoms after taking the meds it was gone in a few days.
If you have no other place to go to get looked at and you don't want to be attacked about getting the vaccine, just tell them you're vaccinated and maybe they'll treat you with some respect.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Elisa R.San Diego, CA17743Aug 3, 2021
Don't waste your time. These people don't want to work. They had no lunch hours on their website so I come in and there are on lunch from 1-2 PM so I came back at 2:05 and still no one there to attend me. Must be nice to get paid to do nothing. I would not recommend.

This place sucks for being an urgent care. They're slow even with no other patients. They don't seem to really care about anything. I've been to more legit medical marijuana doctors. Also their cleaning schedule that's posted on the door says it hasn't been updated since March 2016. And there's a toe nail on the floor of one of the exam rooms. Almost forgot the toilet bowl full of piss and Irish spring bar soap. Not very sanitary.
Need urgent care? Better off going to del taco across the street or asking your neighbor for help.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Eunice O.Los Angeles, CA72644May 31, 2019
I came in for a TB test on 5/29/2019 at 3pm and boy was it was just a waste of $50... Isn't it best practice to let your patients know if there is a specific time to return back for a test that is time sensitive???? If so, wouldn't you schedule it with the patient so they are aware of the time frame they need to come in?
I am a diligent planner and I called ahead of time to ensure they do TB test. The nurse, who also is up at the front desk, told me over the phone to come in before 3pm to administer the TB test. I quickly went in to meet their timeline (even though they close at 6:30pm).
I get there and the same nurse/front desk person quickly administers the TB shot and tells me to return in 2 days. She does not schedule the following up appointment nor does she give me a written appointment reminder. So as a patient. So I put it in my calendar to make sure to go in before they close.
So 2 days later 5/31/2019, I got into the clinic at 5pm (approximately 51 hours) and the same nurse/front desk lady says aloud with 2 other people in the waiting room that I am late and she can't read the TB test. I reiterated to her that she did not tell me to come at a specific time. She states to me, "you are suppose to be back before 2:40pm." I can say you got the TB test but I can't read it... Then she just sits behind her computer and scrolls away while I'm just flabbergasted by her unprofessional demeanor..... Does this clinic purposely not make follow up appointments to ensure they scam out patients???
I should of stayed away when I saw 3 stars for this clinic... Don't come to this clinic unless you want to be scammed. The ethics committee needs to review the protocols for this clinic.
------ edit
I check online to see the time frame protocols to read the testing. It states on the CDC website (https://www.cdc.gov/tb/publications/factsheets/testing/skintesting.htm), I have 48-72 hours to get my TB test read. Mind you, I came in 51 hours from when I got my test administered. So I was turned away when I was within the time frame... I just called at 6:16PM and now they are closed at 6:16PM when they're closed at 6:30PM. I will be reporting this to the Business Better Bureau, Ethics committee, or the nursing credentialing because this is a form of neglect and unethical medical practices.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
