Mehak Beauty Salon

I have been coming to Mehak for threading for the past 15 years, Bindu always makes sure my eyebrows are on fleek! Highly recommend Mehak for all your threading/waxing needs.

This is a nice beauty parlor.
The lady is very good at threading and it does not hurt.
The salon is nice and tidy and usually has high traffic and all the services rendered are done well.

This is coming from someone who regularly waxes and/or plucks her eyebrows. I was excited to explore this place after reading on City-data and other various boards that there were the best place for threading in Greensboro. Well, this is how my experience went.


I walk in.
Lady at the counter doesn't greet me, but simply stares as I walk towards to her.
She asks, "What do you want?"
Before I can finish my statement- she tells me it's 7 dollars and to sit down.
I sit in the first chair and wait while she thumbs through mail. She opens every letter, which for an establishment means around 8-10 envelopes and then sets them down only to walk to me and ask me to hold my eyebrow.

This was my first threading experience, so I was confused as to how to do it naturally. She quickly became exasperated and showed me how to do it.

Then the pain began.

Threading is as painful as waxing, but you get to hear each hair get ripped from your skin.

Overall, my eyebrows were done alright-albeit too thin for my liking, but I didn't have a chance to voice this as I was too busy holding in my pain.

I will keep looking for a good spot for threading, since Mehak is doable but only if nothing else is available.

Bindu is amazing! Her threading skills are impeccable. She's super nice and makes sure you're happy with her work. I get my eyebrows and upper lip done and I ALWAYS get compliments on my eyebrows. She takes appointments for your convenience or walk ins! I would definitely recommend Mehak for your threading needs. (She does offer other services.) The prices are also very competitive. Honestly the best in Greensboro hands down! I'm a long term customer, going on 10 years now, and I never go anywhere else!

This Threading spot is the best in Greensboro. I've been going to the lady for a while and she's really good. Only downside is she only accepts cash, but the prices are reasonable! You can get your lip/eyebrow threaded for $10! your eyebrows look fabulous everytime you leave. Sometimes it's best to make an appointment because the line can pile up. She's also closed on Monday...Tuesday afternoons are less busy :)

This place is good to go to. I've been lots of times and Bindu is nice to be around. I wish I was able to go and be relaxed, which isnt always the case. It's always busy, which is great for her but taking time out on clients is extremely important! I go to this place when I don't have other choices. I would recommend this place.

For those that have been here before, have y'all been to other places? I was not pleased with the customer service at all. When I first arrived at the place the lady was on the phone. I was going to sit down in the waiting area so she could finish up on the phone. She called me on back still talking on the phone. She talked on the phone the entire time! She briefly got off the phone to tell me the price. She's not the best. An Egyptian lady I know is the best! Anyway I won't go back.

She's really good at what she does. Her shop is always filled to capacity with clients which is a testament to how good she is. You're better off calling ahead to make an appointment. Also she takes cash only but there are ATM's next door if you need one.
