Mid America Lawn Maintenance

It is amazing how time (and focused, respectful effort and great communication) can heal all wounds. Six years ago, I wrote a review about Mid-America Lawn Maintenance that was the truth and was based on my actual experience with the company at the time. Well, my relationship with this company has grown in only positive ways, and because of this, Mid- America Lawn Maintenance has earned a 10 star review from me. Unfortunately, Yelp does not offer that many stars for me to illuminate, so you are just going to have to take my word for it! (And I am NOT a relative! /;~}}) I am grateful to be working with this company. Several years ago, they correctly repaired the damage I complained about, and worked to establish a first rate business relationship with me. They always do a beautiful job and my property looks lovely after they have been here. I highly recommend this lawn maintenance company located in Maryland Heights. I believe that they service the entire St. Louis area. You would be wise to hire them. 10 stars is a GREAT REVIEW!!

I was impressed with the almost instant response to my request for a quote. I had it the same day I asked for it. It took me a few days to make a decision, but hired this company on a Friday and they were at my house the nest Monday morning.

We've had a number of companies do cleanups, and with our teenage sons having taken care of the lawn all summer, let's just say the yard wasn't in the best shape. But the crew cleaned, trimmed, cut, and mulched extremely well and left NO mess behind. The price was fair, not the cheapest, but the value for the quality of work that as done was incredible. I'd use this service again in a heartbeat.

I've used these guys for 12 years. They're nice folks.

They do great grass-cutting, trimming, edging, and they blow the sidewalks and driveway clean.

I started with them because a neighbor used them, and I thought they could just take care of two lawns in one trip.

And because my back lawn is so steep, I couldn't mow it going up and down, sideways or diagonally.

Prices haven't gone up too much over the years. And they're reasonable.

Also, if it's a dry period and the grass hasn't grown much from one week to the next, I get a pass.

They offer a lot of other services, such as fertilizing, seeding, aerating and all that other lawn stuff.

Lucky me . . . somehow I've always been on the schedule for a Friday mow, so the lawn looks great for the weekend!

I recently started using Mid America Lawn Maintenance and I could not be happier. I was using someone else who was a nightmare and who was not doing a good job on my yard. My yard now looks in better condition than it has in a long while, and the pricing is very reasonable. Every time I have called and spoken with Mr. Keppel, he has answered his phone and addressed my yard needs immediately. I have already asked for an additional job of cleaning up a flower bed area and the work that was done on it was perfect; it looks so beautiful now! I am planning on using Mid America Lawn Maintenance for my gutter cleaning and leaf removal also. I can finally breathe a sigh of relief that I have someone reputable and reliable, who is reasonably priced, and who does a wonderful job, on my yard. I highly recommend Mid America Lawn Maintenance!

Beware. I have been a customer of this company for years. They HAD always done good work with one exception-- The gated entrance to my backyard is not welcoming to the extremely large/wide power mowers the lawn companies use these days. It is a normal backyard with a slightly wider than normal gate. This company's employees routinely HIT THE SIDE OF MY HOUSE taking the shingles with it. The owner promised to fix the damage and use a narrower mower to cut the back yard. Neither of these things were done and the mowing team continued to hit the side of my house taking my siding with it. I have fired this company. They can be all smiles. They can make a point of mentioning that they are "Christians"....not that that has anything to do with cutting lawns...BUT it DOES have something to do with following through with standard business practices. You break it, you own it. Beware.

I've used Mid-America for around 15 years. They're reliable and reasonably priced. They cut the lawn weekly during the growing season, unless it has been dry and the lawn's not growing. Then they skip and I don't have to pay! They also provide fertilizing, aeration, bug spray on the bushes and other services, such as fall leaf cleanup and gutter cleaning. Each spring and fall, I get an order sheet to pick the services I want. I've also had them do snow removal during heavy snowfall. I've never had any billing problems, but when I've called them to ask about adding a service, they're always pleasant. Great service!

Our lawn looks better than it has in years. Very inexpensive, reliable, and friendly...I highly recommend.

I have used these guys the past two years. The first year, I had a lot of crabgrass and they said it was because I started on treatment 2 and missed the pre-emergent. This year, I have been a member the whole year and I have more crabgrass than regular grass. It is really embarrassing. I asked the owner to take a look and he has not responded. Poor service, poor results....
