This is the quintessential store for hard to find parts for electronic parts. Cash is definitely preferred, old school store. Extremely helpful and handy.

This place is great. I am 49 now. The first time I visited I was 19. I remeber I got a NCR computer here and used it for years! This place always has a great selection of hard to find items, for PC's, HAM Radio Stuff, and general electronics. The have a huge selection on Cable and Wire too. There prices are reasonable. Roger is a great guy and I always enjoy talking to him for a few minutes.

Don't waste your time! Went in looking for some items that I found on their website. After several mins walking the aisles, I decided enough was enough. The guy at the counter was more interested in sitting and shooting the sh*t with another customer ( the whole time I was in there).I walked by several times..not even a hello. I guess he was not interested in making any money today.. Won't ever go there again. I give 1 star because '0' is not an option.

Hands down one of the best surplus places around. I rate the surplus places in the Silicon Valley using this one as the baseline for 5 stars. Great one-stop for all your basic electronics needs. Component parts are very reasonably priced, everything is super well organized and most things are labeled. Clean and tidy. Enclosures, ICs, power supplies, heat sinks, switches; they have everything you need to put something together this weekend. I highly recommended it.

Very well organized. 98% new stock. Used stuff has a guarantee. I am lucky to live nearby. I buy mostly for hobby projects, but I have gotten stuff here that has gotten machines at work back online. They will adjust component prices for larger orders.
And if all that browsing makes you hungry be sure to visit Giovannis for some great Italian food. Located 2 blocks up the street.
