Minute Maids

Hello. I would advise anyone to stay clear of using this cleaning service. She originally emailed me when we first setup the appointment and said she would be there at 1pm. About a half hour before she was due to arrive, she emails me and says she will be there between 1 and 2pm.

When she arrives at the condominium at 2pm we walk thru and I asked he if she will be able to clean everything. I asked if she had all the supplies or everything she needed to clean. She said he had everything to complete the job.

She calls me 45 minutes later and says she is unable to complete the job due to sanitary reasons. This is what I am paying you for! To clean! The toilet was stopped up from my previous tenants that rented the place, so she could not finish cleaning. Also the bathtub was draining slow. How does the toilet being clogged and bathtub draining slow keep you from cleaning the rest of the condo (floors, stove)? She said she could not clean the refrigerator because it needed to be off for 24 hours. You should still be able to wipe the outside off if you can't feel you can't clean the inside of the fridge.

I would advise to not use this service and try another company.

Never showed up, never contacted me to cancel or reschedule the appointment, refused to return deposit. I tried contacting this business several times via phone and email before booking an appointment, received no response. Despite this, I bought their groupon deal and made an online appointment using their calendar and paid the deposit online for the appointment time. I received several notifications of my upcoming appointment which I had paid a deposit for. I drive two hours, get there and wait... and email them asking if they are coming, no response. Then I get an email notification saying the appointment was cancelled. I call the number again, no response. I send an email asking for a refund deposit, thinking okay no harm no foul if they refund my deposit (despite the fact that Groupon will not refund my money and is only going to refund me Groupon bucks). The owner REFUSED to refund my deposit saying it was "non refundable"... as if deposits aren't usually to make sure the customer shows up, not the business owner. Long story short the owner is not responsive, refuses to acknowledge their mistakes, and refuses to refund a small deposit for an appointment they didn't even show up to or cancel ahead of time so the customer doesn't waste their time. I regret relying on this company and then frantically spending days trying to find a new cleaning company before a tenant moves into a new house when this business decided to spontaneously cancel with no prior notice nor communication
