I have a few disabilities and so I have to use nail salons and I was driving by this one and thought I would stop in and get my nails done. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it I require the use of a service animal to have Mobility. But when I went into this shop they told me they don't allow dogs and when I told them that this is my service dog and that she is allowed to go anywhere that I go including airports and restaurants, I want to make sure I get the name right because the first person I talked to I wasn't really sure what they were telling me and I think their name was tran luka heuy... or something along those lines which may explain why I wasn't able to understand what they were telling me but then they walked away and went in the back and the manager came out and I think his name was ngueyn hue hwau but I am trying to spell that from memory and I also happen to have a brain injury. But when I told him that it was federal law that they allowed the animal to enter with me he told me that the nail places policy was more important or higher on the pecking scale for people that don't like Federal laws. But then it dawned on me that God was just whispering to me but there was a reason that there was nobody in the salon at 5:30 on a Monday afternoon. So I guess I should really be thankful that they save me from giving my hard-earned money to someone who doesn't respect the laws of the country their business is in?

I'm not sure what they are a model of but it certainly isn't customer service or following federal laws

Arrival was rocky, I signed in for my 1:00 appt and sat down. At 1:20 I asked when I could expect to be seated for my 1:00 appointment?
The man glanced at a schedule and asked if I was Mia which I confirmed. He said as soon S she (he pointed) is done. As for greeting their clients they could do a bit better.

But, my nail technician, Tammy, did a great job on my pedicure and my nails. As I was getting my pedicure all the techs that passed by were very kind.

The salon is nice, clean, and I'm hoping to make this my home salon because I just moved to Bristol.

Tammy is definately 5 stars. Other than the greeting when I arrived not being so good, everything else was worthy of 5 stars.

      Definately going back.

First, I absolutely love the quality job that Nancy does. She has done my nails for years and always does a superb job. That being said, the process they use to get clients in a chair is very poor. When they quit excepting appointments (which was rarely ever kept anyway), my satisfaction with the overall experience has declined significantly. Not only do they not except appointments, but they are not truthful with projected wait times when you call to ask. Today, I was told that they were not busy and that Nancy would be done soon. I left after 45 minutes (nails untouched) when I realized it would another 30-45 minutes before getting my turn. I understand that when you deliver quality work that you're likely busy, but please be honest about wait times when asked. No one has time to be in a nail salon 3 hour every other week.

As I walked in I waited about two or three minutes before someone even looked up that I was there after they saw me walk in. I asked them how long it would be and they told me to sign in I asked them again and then they just told me to sign in and ignored me. I then waited 45 minutes and ruined my lunch break and finally had to leave and they said nothing.

I like model nails because they are clean but you have to watch the services you receive. Sometimes they don't match the price you choose fir service. For example: I asked for the $30 pedicure which includes nail color. But I apparently picked out a gel color and not regular and wasn't aware of the $10 upcharge. They also asked if I wanted a flower on my toes. Of course I did and they charged me $5 for each flower and wasn't told nor informed about this until check out to pay. There was nothing I could do but pay the $55. Anyways I'll go back because they are really clean but I'll know what to except and look out for the next time.
