Atmosphere was vibrant and extremely friendly. Manicure was fast and amazing. Nails look great and really appreciated my friendly nail tech. My new fave nail salon

I got a gel manicure and pedicure yesterday and within 12 hours of regular hand activity after - no washing dishes, long hot showers, etc. TWO of my nails' color have COMPLETELY come off. I'm pissed because I asked BARRY if my nails needed more time in the little UV light thing and he said, 'no no it's fine,' and sped through both of my services at lightning speed. Not sure if I'm more mad at myself or the situation because I wasn't happy while it was happening but I did my very best to be patient and roll with it.
NEVER AGAIN. They are overpriced for what you get and where they are in the country. I have also been told they cater to their regulars with better technicians and give the newbies to customers they aren't familiar with. I now have to get my nails fixed before my event tomorrow, I'm traveling and extremely frustrated at the inconvenience after what I paid.

No clue how good they are at doing nails but I waited 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to get a regular manicure, and still no one would take me, so I left. On the plus side, they are located right next to a mexican place, so if the wait is too long, you can leave and get a jumbo marg instead ! :P

People seemed nice though I guess, and I'm sure their nails are fine.

Unfortunately this will be my last visit to this salon. There is one tech there that clearly needs retraining as he does not know how to file nails in the correct shape and goes below the nail bed to file. I asked for one of my nails to be redone and add a tip so it looked correct and he didn't want to fix it. I just asked him to finish so I could leave. Now I get to pay another salon to fix the mess he made.

There were 3 of us that got pedicures all same pedicure an polishes but yet all were charged completely different prices I had a GC for $30 the $10 tip he then told me wasn't enough when I asked beforehand was told $30 then my friend was charged $46 then my mom who is a reg there was charged $42 absolutely ridiculous will NOT RETURN

Fastest pedicure I've ever had. Good and bad there. It's a good pedicure. More than 20 minutes for a pedicure is expected though. Nice people, good price, but SLOW down a little.

Modern is excellent! So happy I have a solid nail salon that I trust. Prices are great.

NAIL FUNGUS. I get my nails done regularly where I live, I came to the area for vacation and got my nails done here. Not only did the guy file my nails down so much they started to bleed, he massaged my hand that was coated in leftover powder so it was like sand paper, and he painted my sisters nails and they were riddled with air bubbles and immediately peeled off when we got home it was so thick. THEN, after 2ish weeks, I noticed a dark spot under my nail, I tore off my dip and it's mold/nail fungus!!!!! Nail fungus can take months to get rid of, not to mention having to go on an antibiotic. I am incredibly upset. I do NOT recommend this place whatsoever.

I went in for a polish change. What I got was a mess. The tech was too busy chatting with the other techs to do my nails properly. He left old blue polish on my toes and on my nails. I asked him to clean it up and he didn't do a good job of that either. The new polish is a mess. Parts of my nails aren't polished but I do have the new polish on my skin. I paid but didn't tip. I probably should have said something to the owner but at that point I just wanted to get out. I will not go back and I will not suggest them to anyone.

I had been to Modern Nails twice as a walk-in. Wasn't really happy. Today I called for an appointment and John was my nail tech. Was VERY happy with my results. I will definitely go again with an appointment and with John.
