Q:
Do they serve Spam musubi?
A:
OMG! Totally forgot about that. They do not. Maybe one day as a special they will do it, but not yet. I know we would be in line for that as well.

I see your statement and it is true MSG is in many food items. I would like to know if you add additional MSG besides what occurs naturally? Thank you.
A:
I react to added MSG, badly react. I have tried just about everything on the menu and never have an issue. So no MSG! Support local business. Give them a try. Just be warned Moku is addicting.

This place looked like a little hole in the wall. I'm never in this area so it was a treat to stay something new. I really wished they would have had spam misubi but the bowl was really delicious. I loved the poke tuna. It was so good. I should have gotten more. Their brown rice was really yummy and I loved their chicken. I would definitely go back! And also loved that they had red Fanta on tap

Friendly, quick service and their poke is really good - fresh and great flavors. Mac salad as a side is a can't miss.

Would highly recommend Moku! It was quick and delicious Hawaiian BBQ. Dare I say it is just as soul satisfying as Mama's in Tucson. The food is fresh, flavors on point, large portions, and good prices.
Best part is the Dole Whip though! It's perfect and just like the one in Disney. Tastes like creamy soft serve ice cream completely infused with fresh pineapple flavor. There are no chunks and it is not slushy-like. So scrumptious I wanted more when I finished the cup.
Lastly, the customer service was amazing. Just a couple of teenage looking guys working the counter when we went, but they were nice, welcoming, and helped us choose between the numerous meat and side options. I was impressed with their above and beyond service and will definitely be returning!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Angel C.Gilbert, AZ86748Apr 14, 2023

Neat little spot, heard about this pace from a friend. A bit skimpy on the proteins for their prices but overall great quality Hawaiian food! Don't forget to ask for your sauce if you get teriyaki chicken or chicken katsu because they won't automatically give it to you for some reason. Definitely will return to try out something else.

Soooo delicious! The spicy ahi poke was just like foodland in Hawaii and the pork and Mac salad were delicious too. So glad this place exists.

Easily top 3 takeout spots in Phoenix!

Chicken Katsu (exactly how it should be)

Had the Pulehu steak too but would skip it next time.
This is a fantastic find!

Wonderful food and a good show in the evenings. It was our favorite place when we spent a month on the island.

I've passed this place several times the last few months and decided to call in an order. Never had Hawaiian food but teriyaki is universal and familiar so we rolled with it. Seizing the day and ish.
Had 2 dinner plates so we could taste a bit of everything. #greedy
The Katsu and teriyaki chicken were the overwhelming favorites. Always a plus when it's kid approved. The sauces definitely add a nice touch and the rice was perfectly cooked. However comma...the Pulehu chicken and Mochiko wings (which aren't wings at all...side-eye) seem to blend in with no authentic flavor of their own. Well cooked but meh...
I had to take a star off for sides even though I knew better. Tried the macaroni salad, naively optimistic it wasn't full of Satan's jelly (mayo). I wanted to see if the Hawaiian version taste different. It doesn't. And that's all I have to say about that.
Overall...will definitely be back but just for 2 meats and rice. The bowl is more than enough to fill you up with left overs. And at less than 10 bucks, pleasing to my both my stomach and my pocket!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
