Mommie Cakes

Mommie Cakes is amazing! I called them wanting to gift my sister a strawberry cake for her birthday. The problem? I am in Detroit and my sister is in Arizona. They told me they could help me with that and could deliver it.

The person that took my order was kind and patient. The order was confirmed via text. But they went above and beyond by letting me know via text when they had delivered the cake.

It was a great experience, my sister was beyond thrilled, She sent me a picture of the cake, it looked as advertised and they personalized it for me.

Ordered for pickup, PAID ahead of time, but when the time came for pickup I arrived at the store after driving 35 min out of my way and it was closed, no response for 20 minutes just to tell me it's her son's birthday and she's not available today. Deletes all comments from customers on her social media to hide it.

We have stopped in and also ordered several times through DoorDash. We have tried cake, bread, and the strawberries. It's all amazing but there is nothing like a huge pile of strawberries being delivered to your door at 9 pm when you're craving something amazing and sweet!

The owner (and her kids) are so friendly! Support a small business and enjoy a unique talent!

Mommie Cakes was INCREDIBLE to work with. I work at a big University and we ordered cupcakes for Juneteenth. I emailed Mommie Cakes to let them know what were were wanting and she replied right away and was so communicative with me. She made sure our order was what we wanted and we said pick the most popular flavors. The day that we got our cupcakes, she messaged me that she was on her way and the cupcakes arrived on time. THEY. WERE. BEAUTIFUL!!! We had such a great experience and we will be using Mommie Cakes again in the future for another event! Everyone loved the cupcakes and loved the taste. The cupcakes are so moist and perfect. Thank you Mommie Cakes for making our celebration memorable!

Amazing service and super responsive owner. She took a simple idea of mine and turned it into the most fabulous cake and treats for my daughter who is away at school. Delivery was right on time and the cake, strawberries, and cake pops were a giant hit in the dorm. Thank you!
