Money Savers Construction

We had a very bad experience with them fixing our leaking roof. Michael Lloyd, the owner, did come out right away after I called (10/3/22) and brought some workers along. The estimate was higher than we had expected, but he seemed knowledgeable and made a good impression on us.
We paid half of the estimate as a deposit, and the check was cashed immediately. However, the work was delayed and delayed again. We were waiting for hours, but the workers did not show up at the scheduled times, and Michael did not call to let us know. He was also generally very hard to reach by phone or e-mail.
After the work was finally done, there was another leak in an area they had supposedly fixed, and they came back to redo that. The work ended on 11/29/22 and on 1/3/23 there was another leak in the same area they had claimed to have repaired. I left a message for Michael, and he finally consented to come out on 1/5/22 to have a look. He never showed up or called. That was the last straw for me, and we have hired somebody else to do the job right.
Unless you have nerves of steel - don't do business with that company!
