Are you looking for a reliable, professional handyman service? Mr. J's is the one to go with. Reasonably priced, but more than that-top notch service and a company full of integrity. Marcus was my tech on a kitchen sink install - that, like most projects turned into just that - a project.

Marcus met the challenge head on, determined to meet the expectations. Always remaining friendly and personable, ensured I understood what was going on and what the fix was. Mike - the owner - even stopped by to check in... Speedy service, great price, and professionalism that is hard to come by these days.

Get your competitive quotes-I did. But I'd bet you're going to choose Mr. J's. And no....I'm not being paid for this review!

If I could give zero stars I would. I had this guy do several things for me. One of the things was to replace the bathroom fan and light. My renter started having problems with it and I had another outfit come out to look at it. I was charged for a new unit and installation to find out it was just jerry rigged. He took advantage of me because I am a single older woman who just lost my son and I was vulnerable. Now I have to pay someone else to do the job right.

I called Mr. J for a couple of projects around the house on a Friday. I was going to be out of town the beginning of the week so Mike showed up on his day off to provide a quote and provide a time for when the work could be done (when I returned home). They arrived right on time, did the work asked for in a timely and professional manner. I could not be more impressed with their quality of work and their more than competitive price.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Needed help installing a window AC unit. Called and he said "no problem", he'd be there in about an hour. Two hours go by and we call him back and he says he got super busy with jobs but that he would be at our place tomorrow morning. Again, no big deal. Next day arrives and he never shows. Call him and he hangs up on both of our separate calls, and doesn't respond to any texts. We explained in texts that we didn't mind if he needed to cancel as we called him very last minute, but we just wanted to know if we should hire someone else. Again, no response. Don't waste your time with this guy.

Mr. J's Handyman is a great option to use for a wide range of things. Mike's pretty skilled, knowledgeable and also pretty affordable.

I was researching handyman jobs for multiple projects like remounting a tv and surround sound and repairing an exterior grate from those damn woodpeckers. I first met Mike to make an assessment of what needed to get done, and he immediately knew what to do and gave me a quick estimate of $100. Right then I knew this would be the guy I want to use and scheduled a couple weeks out because Mike was backed up with other work.

Time passed and Mike showed up on time with another associate to knock out the projects. Mike started dismounting my tv with my Sonos sound system, raising and then remounting. Mike's associate got on his ladder and started sealing the exterior exhaust vent and grate with metal screen in hopes those woodpeckers would stop damaging my home or even try to nest. After about 1.5 hours later, the project was done and I was beyond pleased!

One thing that did frustrate me was when Mike remounted the tv and Sonos, I tried to retune the audio when I noticed no sound was being put out. As they were about to leave for another job, I asked if they'd be able to address the sound issue because I'm nowhere near tech savvy lol. About 10 minutes later we realized the audio output was unplugged. They popped it back in and I finally got sound!

Mr. J's a great business to use. Mike's friendly, talkative and very upfront on affordable pricing. I have multiple other smaller projects that need to get done, but I'll schedule it later when they're not as busy.

I had an unusual project for Michael but he didn't hesitate. He was friendly, communicative, speedy and reasonably priced. I would definitely hire him again!

Very pleasant person to work with and on time. He did a beautiful tile job in my bathroom which also included some plumbing and electrical work. I will definitely be using Mike again for additional projects.
