They always have a line but they are so quick with their customer service!

Awesome place with an amazing selection of common and unique items.

Today is long line day, but so worth standing in the smell that brings great childhood memories alive. Cakes, cookies, muffins, breads and more...more more more more!

I'm not one to complain and leave negative reviews on businesses especially family-owned businesses but I am BEYOND disappointed how terrible My Bakery has become. I've been coming here for all birthday/event cakes +10 years and have received nothing short of outstanding service. Just last month, I returned to order a custom tres leches sheet cake for a work event as my team loves when I bring cakes from here. When I went to place an order, a new lady who I haven't seen before took my order. My order total came out to more than it typically does but that is NOT the issue. Prices go up especially in today's economy & I don't mind pay the price for these great quality cakes.

They were able to fulfill my request and the decorations on the cake were amazing. The issue started when I brought the cake to work and one of my colleagues cut into it. The tres leches cake had little to NO milk in it; dry as a regular sponge cake . We all figured maybe it was just that one corner piece but no. Half the sheet of my cake was dry despite it being a Tres Leches cake. I immediately got on the phone and called the bakery to get some answers. The only responses I got from the woman on the phone were the following "That's unusual. You probably ordered it wrong. We don't make half Tres Leches/half sponge cake sheet cakes" followed by backtracking and stating that I probably "didn't order the cake with extra leche". She was rude, dismissive & condescending. And I thought to myself "How can I order a cake wrong when all I did was order a tres leches sheet cake with floral icing decor and a phrase spelled in icing? Nothing new that deviates from my standard orders here."

FIRST OF ALL, never in the past 10 years of experience ordering with My Bakery have I had to "pay extra" for my Tres Leches cake to come with the standard amount of Tres Leches mixture nor was it mentioned upon initial ordering (otherwise I would've paid more). All my tres leches cakes thus far have contained great moisture from the tres leches filling without having to pay extra. She proceed to say "Well we'll make sure to let the manager know in the future and we'll have them reach out to you". A month later and I haven't been able to get a hold of the manager.

I'm not sure if My Bakery is under sudden new management but it's a massive shame what it has become. The lady who took my order was kinda rude and I wouldn't be surprised if she's the one who answered the phone. If this is how future orders will be processed & presented then I feel bad for the business. They should at least be a bit more transparent to their consumers or accept that fact that they got your order wrong rather than gaslighting you for "not paying extra" when that's not the case at all.

Like it's embarrassing to bring a cake to work that everyone was anticipating, only for it to disappoint. If anyone knows of other bakeries that produce great tres leches cake, please message me.

I ordered it a couple of days before. I added the astronauts and sign. The cake was for 20 people. Cost $70. Overall, I was very satisfied with the cake. They do not do many designs, so I was glad to learn they were able to do the galaxy design on a tres leches cake.

If I could put ZERO stars I most definitely would!! My entire family has been coming to this bakery for years but after my recent experience we will NEVER be coming here any longer!
My mom and I went into the bakery to place an order a week before my son's birthday but unfortunately we had to postpone his party and we made sure to call to let them know in advance.
His postponed birthday party comes around and I had called the day BEFORE his party to confirm that they had my order which they said they did!! They gave me a pick up time as well which was 12pm. The day of my son's party I go in at 12:30pm, I give them the name of the order the phone number and the writing that it was supposed to have on it then proceeded to tell me that was not enough information and couldn't find my cake for about an hour!!! Mind you I CALLED THE DAY BEFORE THEY SAID THEY HAD MY ORDER!!! I was missing my son's birthday party because they "couldn't find my cake" for an hour and then all of a sudden "it pops up" and I watched as they spray painted the cake really quickly and just gave it to me it was HALF ASSED!!! No effort into the cake whatsoever! Also, while they were trying to find my cake they were also having other issues with another lady's cake!
I guess it was the manager or the lady in charge that was there; I asked her for a discount for wasting my time when they told me 12pm pick up and for it having cracked buttercream, rushed service, and the spray paint was dripping, and the colors were overlaying when it shouldn't have, ALSO you can still see the white of the frosting and she straight out started giving me attitude and was telling me "they don't do discounts" so I had told her my concerns and she could ONLY give $4 off!!! I told her it wasn't enough they were looking for my cake for AN HOUR!!! I had asked for at least $10 off my order for the HUGE inconvenience they were bringing to me and the lady that was "helping" me was EXTREMELY RUDE! She had said she couldn't give me the $10 off the cake that was rushly made and it wasn't even the right flavor! Finally she said $5 off and I just ended up taking it because I wasn't gonna waste my time going back and forth with a badly serviced manager and miss more of my son's birthday, but I had made sure that I would be stopping by for the rest of my money!
P.S. THE CAKE WAS DRY!!! Everyone at the party was complaining!!!

Ok it's been a while since I've been back here. I thought it would be a good place to get my birthday cake since I didn't need anything too big and fancy. My husband got me a strawberry and whipped cream white cake. Unfortunately it tasted a little old which is surprising because I know they usually go through most if not all of their cakes each day. I was very disappointed and only had one slice. I will give them another chance since I've been going here happily for years. I'm hoping that it was just a fluke.

The cake was still cute for pictures though. :)

Tres leches cake is amazing! You can't go wrong even if you're just stopping by and have a sweet tooth. *Cash only so go prepared*

Very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail.

This is my to go bakery all my cakes come from my bakery. They are fresh, beautiful and delicious. Great staff. All very professional and attentive. Great tasting cakes.

Found a whole tooth in a cake for a friend's birthday, very gross and unprofessional.
