N17 Burger Co

OMG! You have to order the sweet potato fries! The best I have EVER had! N17 cheeseburger was sooo good as well!

Visiting from California:

We were staying in Cairns were almost everything we ate was horrible and there was no beach. So we decided to rent a car and head to Port Douglas to spend a day at the beach.

Starving after the beach, we found N17 through Trip Advisor.

Restaurant is on a cute strip with shops and stuff to walk around.

This is the BEST BURGER I've ever had. We travel a lot, but this was so perfect. My husband and i shared their signature burger with bacon and the fried egg, fries and the cheese sauce. The pattie was so perfectly flavored and had this perfect char on it. Bun stayed together the ENTIRE time and didn't turn to mush. Fries and cheese...i wanted to die!

This is a MUST EAT when you're in Port Douglas. We're back in California still dreaming of that burger.

The food was good, we tried the N17 burger, the beer battered onion rings, the chips, and the loaded mexican chili chips (french fries) with a side of ranch sauce. The ranch sauce is like mayo with some ranch flavor (if your America, dont think ranch dressing...Its different). The mexican is more texmex. The chili is a tomato base chili with corn with beef and kidney beans and a little chili flavor. You have to go to the counter to order. This is not like American restaurants where servers take your order. You order your drinks separately at the bar. The seats outside are very uncomfortable, especially if your shorts dont go past your knees your legs stick and leave criss cross Mark's, it hurt to peel my skin off the chairs after our meal.

We ate lunch here while venturing to Port Douglas for the day. Our family ordered classic burgers, a BLTA, fries and a shake. The food was good quality and they have a few tables up front along the sidewalk. The servers were also very friendly and accommodating.

Tasty vegan burger!! It's so hard to find a good veggie burger, and this one definitely hit the spot. The bun is toasted with good crunch, and the burger was the perfect amount of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Make sure you get some sweet potato fries!

I have to start with the beef burgers are fantastic. The barramundi burger and its lime aioli were really yum but was a bit light on the fish. Two tiny bits was all. The chips were great and the gravy was very good as well. The let down was the pulled pork. It was bland and lacking. I was really looking forward to the bourbon chipotle sauce but that was scarce and meager flavor. I regretted my choice almost immediately. It tasted like nothing really.
