Wow! Best manicure I have had since moving to Savannah five years ago! The salon is clean and convenient for those living on the south side. YaqinaR did a beautiful gel manicure for my thin and sensitive nails. She is warm and friendly and is very very gentle and thorough at removing old polish and prepping the nails for new gel polish. I will become a regular for years to come. Just a note: the salon is in her home, but separated from the living space. I am allergic to cats, however, even though she told me she has a cat, I had absolutely no problem, since the cat does not come in the salon area. There is also a separate entrance on the side of the house. She does not advertise, but takes appointments but no walk-ins. I have tried at least 15 nail salons and/or spas in Savannah and Hilton Head over the last five years, and Yaqina is far and away the best!

Nails by YaquinaR is a nice quaint home-based nail salon which offers personal service and a relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend the one hour pedicure treatment for tired legs and feet. Yaquina is a knowledgeable nail tech and she perfecting her trade by making products which are available on site as well. Thanks Yaquina!

I never liked the factory type nail experience nor the smell so for a long time, I didn't go to a nail salon. I am Happy to have found Yaqina. She gives you a personalized natural nail experience, refreshment, warm towels, conversation and wonderful hand/foot massage and I leave happy!
