Nails Only

Now known as Quality Nails Spa. Address in Yelp is wrong. The new address is 34999 Euclid Ave, Willoughby. It's a bait and switch and far too overpriced. I called and was advised $55 for a regular mani/pedi. Get there and I'm told, "Oh, prices have changed." They ended up charging $78. Price change in mid week, 2 days after its scheduled? And their web page shows different prices from what they quote in the salon. All they say is, "Oh, it's not updated." I won't ever return. I don't need to have managers talk down to me or ignore their issues. Far too many salons out there to deal with deceptive practices.

I have been coming to Nails Only in Willoughby since Christmas. I love the work that they do here and I always leave satisfied with awesome looking nails.

I have shorter, weaker nails so I decided to get acrylics put on. I'm always picky about my length and shape and they are always so helpful and are willing to make whatever changes they need to make sure you leave happy!

I have had the same gel polish on for THREE weeks and there are no chips and absolutely no peeling which I have had problems with before at other salons. I think I've found my new go-to place!

They also have a lot of gel nail color options which I appreciate, and the space is clean and inviting. The prices are also very fair compared to the businesses nearby.

Felt very safe during COVID. The fella who did my pedicure wasn't chatty, and would zoom about to answer the door and the phone, but did a great job! Prices were reasonable for the service. I did see them turn away some walk-ins, though, so be sure to call ahead to make an appointment.

Tiffany is clean and neat and does an exemplary job. For that reason, I must give this salon a rating of one star, and that is Tiffany! If it weren't for Tiffany, I'd never set foot in there.

Now about the owners:

Kim and Ryan are extremely unfriendly and never greet the customers with hello or a smile. Kim wears furry bedroom slippers which is very unprofessional! (Probably unsanitary, too) It appears she just rolled out of bed and drove to work.
Vee, the former owner was always friendly and said hello to everyone. She called her patrons by name. Honestly, I don't know how they stayed in business during Covid 19. They are so cheap they even water down their hand sanitizer! Naturally, they speak in a foreign language to one another so patrons cannot understand them....so rude.

Love Ryan and his staff! Always do the best job, never a wait when making my appointment times. Studio is clean and beautiful!

I had a wonderful experience here! V was my technician today. She was really great to talk to and has over 20yrs experience! I got a pedicure and a full set today (coffin shaped) and didn't even have to wait for my appointment.

The place is also very clean! They actually put bags in tubs for pedicures so it's super sanitary - which is something I've never seen before, but really appreciated (photos shown).

I would definitely recommend this salon! :)

Kim always does an amazing job on my nails ! And I love how easy it is to get a same-day appointment here. I have been going here for years and will continue to do so!

Nails Only is now my go-to salon after trying several other salons in the area. My previous experiences found salons to be too busy (waiting long periods of time even with a reservation), too pricey, unclean, unfriendly, or very bad experiences. Nails Only is small, but friendly, professional, clean, skilled, and reasonably priced. One of the technicians needed to rescue my nails from a horrible job done at another local salon--she was appalled and did a great job repairing the damage, making my nails look great.

I would like to give this place 5 stars because of its cleanliness and wait time. My gel manicure lasted a little over two weeks, I liked that. The male tech who works there on Sundays makes me feel uneasy with his inappropriate conversation. I also did not like the fact of him pushing a pedicure appointment. I told him no, but it was as if he didn't want to take no for an answer. I do like this shop, but will only go there when the male tech is not there.
