Native Son is the areas largest and most popular bar specializing in hand crafted cocktails, local beers and fresh food served nightly till midnight; making us the only location in Glenwood Springs serving food late into the evening. Every Friday night we offer live music to the public starting at 9pm with no cover cost. Saturday’s we have a DJ in house from 9pm-2am without a cover as well. We are the only establishment in the valley that shows the UFC pay per view fights as well. There is no cover if you get in before the main card starts so make sure to arrive early for dinner as seats fill up quickly for these events. Industry nights are Sunday Nights with free pool games to the public. Come join the local industry workers after their long weekend and take advantage of drink and food specials as you get to know some of the most amazing people in the Valley. So yeah, we are a bit diverse one might say. Healthy menu, the towns largest cocktail/martini lounge, dinner till midnight, Pay Per View Events, live bands and many more things not listed here. We are also locally owned by a search and rescue helicopter pilot who covers the Rocky Mountains named Jack (known to many as simply Captain Jack). So as you enjoy the good times and amazing food/drinks rest assured you are supporting a local business owned by who many consider a hero and who has rescued countless lives.…

Stopped in with some friends for a night cap and to check the place out. They had 2 employees working the bar which is where you ordered any drinks and food.

We all ordered some drinks and a couple appetizers to pick at while hanging out. This night happened to be salsa dancing night which included an instructor to walk you through some guided lessons. Some of our friends joined in and had fun with it. The instructor was great and the vibe it created was entertaining.

There was a large crowd playing pool the whole time so we weren't able to get on the tables but that happens. The chips and salsa were nothing to write about but your below average appetizer you'd get for free at most Mexican places.

Mexican street corn was awesome. Service was excellent for a late night bite. Appealing modern vibe on the inside.

Popped in after enjoying the hot springs. Ordered a spicy margarita which really hit the spot! It was well made. Staff was very friendly and professional! For dinner, I got the chicken tinga tacos and they were honestly some of the best tacos I've ever had. They give generous portions here. I highly recommend this spot and it appears to be one of the restaurants that stays open later within the area if you are looking for a late night bite.

I used to be regular at this bar because I adore their food, I have recently decided along with a few other locals that we will no longer be going in to Loyal brothers. one of many reasons is the newer staff is incredibly rude.

I had gone in Saturday night before 10:00 to get their Papas bravas (my favorite food item) with my family and was refused entrance due to a few people in my party not having their IDs.

If you're looking for a night out in Glenwood... This. Is. Your. Place. A group of 7 of us came here for a Bachelorette party and had a blast. Dancing + live music + + refreshing drinks + late night food = all expectations met. Bathrooms are comfy and food is served up until midnight. Ricardo, the owner, is a gem of a human. He cares about his customers and has the best staff (S/o to Shilo for his Hawaiian shirt and Joe for his hospitality).

We'll be back for the next celebration, cheers!

Stopped by on my drive through colorado, was told to hit up this local spot for a good time. It was a decently busy night but that's not really an excuse for the terrible service that the bartender gave. she basically acted like i didn't exist. needless to say, i was in and out of the place pretty quick with how terrible it was. Had to ask someone to recommend me a different spot. luckily i wont be coming back to colorado anytime soon.

Stopped in just to grab a drink and wound up in a short conversation about Halloween, nostalgia, and magnetic device charging. Folks seemed nice -- bar and customers alike -- and very much seems the sort of place I could be a regular if I lived in the area. This particular evening was karaoke night, which was something I hadn't seen in a while and the couple of songs we heard were as gloriously horrifying as any such fun should be. We had a couple of their specialty drinks and I certainly recommend trying those if you're inclined. We didn't eat, but the food looked amazing. I will definitely be back when I'm next in the region.

      Bar area.
